Saving for an old one. Don't plan on leasing or taking out a loan. Probabably start of 2014 if the family doesn't get one by then.
I've been lurking, reading threads and blogs. But I have less time on my hands now, with going to work and all.

It’s always wise to get a reliable pre-owned car that is in good shape.
Looks like you are paying heed to dad’s advice on loans and stuff. Good.
Enjoy the match today. I heard, as a treat, there won’t be load shedding for the duration of the match.
Heck, they can’t get food or shelter to the sailaab mutaassireen but they will get them a couple TVs to watch the match.

Don’t think we can get loans over here for old car. Probably buying a car that some has on lease is a possibility, they’d just transfer the lease in your name.
And I’m expecting that we’ll have car before that anyway, so won’t have to buy one. Then I can use my savings to travel to a country or two :).
I probably won’t be watching it, because the TV would be tuned into some Drama Channel. Meh! Not a big cricket fan anyway. Though the Bangladesh vs Pakistan match, office me koi mahol tha. And the South Africa match, everyone was in the Cafetaria for the last over.

Well Dubai to ghar ki laundi hay(not really, never even been there), 2 hour flight, so I'll probably go over there so that's UAE one, then my obsession and then there is the country North of my obsession.

I have got my saving account opened at the same branch where i have my normal account. I don’t know the PIN for my saving account, I just tell them to transfer money into my saving account so I don’t get any access to use my saving money. I myself want to get control,how to do that?
How do you stop yourself ? Is it easy ?

I have a checking and savings and I can transfer money in and out of it online.
Don’t even have to go to the bank unless I need cash.
I didn’t actually go to sleep but I have other things to do in life besides be tortured by a losing match.

I look at the big picture. What do I really want that I don’t have right now. And I don’t have to pay for food, electrcity or transportation, so that helps to. Sposored by dad. But still that’s all I get for free, and I do have to stop myself from spending.
Although my dad tells me to spend my money on my wardrobe at least.

I used to be so fazool kharch compared to now, I have stopped visiting the shopping malls,lol.
I only go to the bank when I need to put some cash in or take out some cash. Thanks for the idea,the other day my younger sis asked me to transfer money into her account, I transferred and the money was there with in five minutes,it was quicker than PayPal. I would be doing the same with my saving account from now on. :k:

I am planning to get a car soon , need some savings for that but keeping a car is expensive for a student.
For you, it won’t be that expensive , just get a car and go.Here we have to pay road tax,car insurance,MOT.
