It has been very tense for us since the incident. One of my cousins was stuck for hours in traffic near the airport with his kids and another had to take refuge in his college hostel bcoz of rioting. He still has not back into his home while his parents are on Hujj and we wonder if they can make it on time back to Pakistan coz PIA has cancelled or delayed flights from Jeddah.

Yes Save Pakistan. All of us on this board swear allegiance to Pakistan. The people in Pakistan Govt "claim" so as well ( I put that in quotes because some people on this board suspect the Govt's intention no matter what it does), the politicians in opposition do, the politicians in power do.
You know who among the prominent players do not swear allegiance to Pakistan and have declared an open war on us: Taleban and AQ! Yes unite we should, not against one another, but against the group of people who have declared open war against us. Once that is settled, politics will be easier to sort through. Nawaz Sharif, Musharraf, Altaf, Imran, Qazi,. differences between them can be sorted then. Let us recognize and fight the common enemy first!

The last 3 days have been so tense. My brother is stuck in Lahore and can't even travel. I have a sick friend who is not even being taken care of due to a lack of staff in hospitals...
Yes its sad that a leader died + all others... but
does that mean that we close down the whole country and burn buses, factories and cars????
Its just out of my understanding... I did not see many people (especially the PP politicians) calling for an end to violence...
All around there is an atmosphere of fear...

MQM/Mush lovers were saying repeatedly that BB has lost the elections already, no crowds comming to her rallies, she was afraid of railies after first bomb blast. Magar in besharmon ko koi sharam nahin, ab bhi bakwas kehtay hi jarahay hain even afer here death. I have yet to see such kameenay Pakis.
Like Mush they claim that it was work of Jehadi just to logon ki aango main dool dalnay ke liay. woh samajhtay hain saray pakistni ulu ke pathay hain. Shame on them.

My family, parents, kids are all in Pakistan. And they are saying that now it is not the PPP workers who are putting buses and cars on fire. Now, our street beggers and poor vagabonds are gathering to have a bit of fun in all of this. My friend got stuck in two mobs while going from RWP to Abbotabad today and he was saying that these mobs of vagabonds were laughing and joking while breaking glasses of the cars and buses passing by.
