Seriously, well, Saudi Arabia wants to boost Pak army presence in Saudi Arabia to counter any ISIS attacks while you are saying that our armymen will be deployed for sipping cup of tea over there, the connection is that you mean to say by sipping cup of tea Pakistan army will be able to counter ISIS threat.

You seriously fail at any concept of military strategy. You leave ISIL to take over more territory and allow it to spread while you spend time fighting proxies that they fund and support with arms and ammunition. That is amazingly brilliant of you. Amazing nobody has thought of that.

Everybody should stop bombing ISIL and let Iraq handle it on its own.

I love the racism here. Well done.

I for one consider it a business transaction. Just like your governments do with KSA. Be it the Brits selling them weapons which end up in the hands of ISIL or the Americans and Brits giving support through KSA and Qatar to the Free Syrian Army which ends up in the hands of ISIL.

So if they pay us in billions of dollars why not? We are supposed to have some morals when the rest of the world does not? I say Pakistan stops working with KSA when we no longer benefit from it. I say ask them for more. 2 billion next year.

Good decision by Pakistan army to not get involved in this mess. If the news is indeed true. Pakistan is not some bloody agent state that must take on every - Saudi or Amreekan - task fighting others battle for bit of money. The country is still paying the heaviest price for the assignment it took on from US and Saudi in the 80s. Quite a while ago, Saudis made similar lowkey request Pakistan to train anti Assad jihadists, and Pakistan Army quite rightly and quite promptly said no. I’m sure they were going to get paid some handsome money for creating Taliban Vol II.

If you care so much about money coming in, tell your beloved leaders to return back the $2 billion of stolen national wealth and that should solve at least some problems.

I don’t know if Peshawar Corp Commander’s recent statement (paraphrasing) that ‘we don’t have a threat of ISIS in the country’ was in relations to this news. But seems like Pakistan is not in mood to fall for Saudi’s chicken coming home to roost fears over ISIS. They already have so much on their plate, and are already experiencing the results of biting more than what you can chew greed.

Pakistan’s only defence against ISIS is highly secured borders and ports. That’s enough to keep them fully busy.
