Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

We are stationing troops. Not fighting. We already have troops in Saudi Arabia as it is. No harm in that at all since we will get paid for it and it will help with our oil situation.

They are already fighting for their own country and the moment they are defeated, ISIL will be here. Its better to take terrorism head on and fight it then cower behind ideas like its deal with it later on.

Later on does not work in this case.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

You seem to think diverting troops to Saudi Arabia would limit our fight in Pakistan. Why is that? You base this on what factual evidence?

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

Diverting your troops and attention to several fronts weakens you. That's a well known fact.

If Pakistan had friendly neighbors and peaceful internal environment, I'd be more than glad to support fighting ISIS where they are. So far, Saudi Arabia itself has taken no direct action against that menace. They want Pakistani people to fight and die for them, just like they import slaves from India/Pakistan and Bangladesh to build stuff for them.

If you like Pakistani military to continue to be seen as mercenaries for hire, it is your wish. I can just hope that sense prevails.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

Firstly we aren't diverting combat troops. There is no mention of that at all. Secondly we all know that when a force is engaged in military operations you do not commit your entire force to that one battlefront.

You rotate troops in and out. You do this as low as company strength if need be. The US did that in Afghanistan. The US troops in Farah would change every 9 months.

In this case we do not know how many companies or battalions are being requested. More so, Pakistan still has more troops stationed on its border with India than fighting terrorism in Pakistan.

Missing a company or two won't affect the operation or its activities. Specifically since we have tribal forces supporting Pakistani troops. At best it would be mean a quicker rotation of troops in to combat and out of combat.

Secondly we are not diverting attention as the US has troops in Saudi Arabia and in case of an attack they would take lead of any response as per US law. In that regard Pakistan troops and Command structure would be managed by Saudi Central command and in that regard US command.

We will not control CENTCOM in Saudi. The Saudi's or American's will.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

... is my command.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

It is an irony that people who ***** about american involvement in middle east are now using the US example to insert Pakistan there. What circular logic!

Btw, before saying anything else, Pakistan IS NOT the US of A !!
The reason that I am against is that we know who the third class PM is running our country. He would commit Pakistan to do things so he is personally enriched at the expense of Pakistan.

How about saudis are told to cut the funding for madarsas and invest in Pakistan (no more hunting our wild life either). Does this PM have the guts to do it? I don't think so..

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

Exactly circular logic. Its simple. You guys state that its okay when we do it with the US but bad when we do it for the Saudis.

That is pure and simply hypocrisy. The only variable in both cases is your hatred for the Saudis.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

I love this response. Its a perfect example of how ignorance can be silenced by actual knowledge and understanding of how things are.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

Do what with the US? Support them after 9/11?

You do know that pakistani nukes can't land over the US and shock you can only hit their forces in the holy land of saudia. US also isn't supporting the madarsas like the GCC does with all of their ills.

You need to act less like a punjabi chauvinist and get a clue. I highly doubt that you ever worked for UN in a diplomatic position.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

Yes support them after 9/11 in theory. We got a considerable amount of blow back for that. Also not Punjabi. Seriously whats with you and being a racist? First Arabs now punjabis.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

Thanks. Short and sweet does the trick of communicating knowledge and understanding.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

Nope it doesn't. And that is why you respond with 1 line on battlefield rotations :)

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

Someone is losing their cool. lol

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

only responding to his hypocrisy.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

I don't know how I was racist to arabs, but aren't you that nomi from lahore?

As for 9/11, answer me this:

Were you in support of WTC attacks? I don't think that you remember but if Pakistan hadn't supported the US, this is what the US and the whole world would think. In hindsight, everything looks peachy.

I am not in favor of drones (they are and were effective for the US), but I am not imran khan as I wanted the pakistani army to clean the filth instead of chickening out until now. There is no real police force in FATA (Frontier Const protects settled areas from FATA), so army would do the operations since foreigners were also flooding from afghanistan. I supported PTI on some fronts, but I sharply disagreed on imran's blind love for FATA.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

I already told you my position. I do not want a single soldier working as a mercenary for Saudi royals.

It is obvious you do not agree. So, 1 line was more than enough to reinforce my position. You can continue rambling.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

By bringing in someone's personal details? Nice.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

Yes and its untenable. Simple as that.

Re: Saudis want more Pakistani troops in KSA to save them from ISIS

Nope not NomiCa but now he was a patriot.

Nobody was in support of the WTC attacks. Thus my desire to kill every ISIL member out there. Thus my position to post more troops in Saudi to make sure they don't get more territory.

Thus my point of view all terrorists must die. Thus my support back in 2013 to kill all the Taliban. I supported Drone Strikes as long as the Pakistani government agreed with them.

There are certain strikes which were against our national strategy on the matter. In that regard I celebrated when they killed Baitullah and Hakimullah. I also supported peace talks as a manner to get the TTP to lay down arms. They however refused to do so. They refused to accept peace on Pakistan's terms. So now they all die. Pure and simple.

What I am is a nationalist. That means Pakistan comes first. Be it Zardari as PM or NS or IK. Doesn't matter. I am not gonna be those whiny *****y Pakistans who complains all the time about my homeland and refuses to do anything to fix it.

In this specific case, Pakistan can get money or oil out of this deal. This benefits the country, so be it. As long as we benefit from it in a manner which helps the common man in some trickle down method I am okay with Pakistani troops posted in Saudi Arabia.
