*^ 'abuse of human rights' was an issue cited as an excuse to bomb Iraq and Afghanistan. *
Why do champions of democracy not care about Kingdoms/Emirates in gulf countries while they always pose to want a 'stable' democracy in countries like Pakistan or Cuba?
Why are women rights ignored for Saudi Arabia and are a major cause of concern in South Asia?
I am not saying the west should take up these issues, but only saying that they should have a uniform policy and not meddle in other countries' affairs using this as an excuse. I am sure if Saudi government started resisting western economic exploitation, it would be labeled as a dictatorship committing mass abuses of human rights.
Just for a second imagine the havoc it would create if west decided to bomb Saudi Arabia for its lack of human rights..
Also how would it benefit the west to bomb Saudi Arabia. They have a stooge there who is willing to bow down befor them for anything.
Why is it that you blame the west for something wrong happening in Saudi Arabia. Isnt it time that reform started from inside the so called Islamic countries rather than blame the west for everything evil that happens in the so called Islamic Countries...
