It's this sort of thing which maligns Islam and Shariah.
The Shariah in it's true form is a beautiful thing to protect all those who live under it but Kafir-agents pretend to champion it more than anyone else and enforce it wrongly simply to malign it.
Shariah is a great deterrent against crimes but it's being misused by many.
The Shariah is not meant to be cruel, once during the early days of Islam under the reign of the second Righteous Caliph Umar (S) there was a severe drought and the people were starving so the punishment on stealing was temporarily lifted.
Furthermore the early Islamic State was a welfare state, if somebody's hand was amputated for persistently stealing their dependants were provided for by the state. Can the Mullahs of Swat who have to sell their daughters to rich bussinessmen from Karachi and Lahore to feed their own stomachs be a welfare state?
Shariah is great of it can be enforced in its full but choosing little bits to enforce like enforcing the punishments but not being a welfare state makes the* Rehmat* that is Shariah into a Zehmat.
We're all Muslims and belive in Allah's Laws as perfect and the best but realistically speaking I don't think anybody today is sincere in establsihing it properly. The Mullahs and the goverments who pretdnt o champuion it are misuing it for their own Padshahi.
NIce post indeed, but it begs a few questions about shariyah.
No doubt shariyah looks best on papers, it can be good in reality too, but how we kuffar are going to know this fact? Any thing that is good for needs to pass a practical test. And when we talk about shariyah, it is something which must be implemented and not confined to papers coz its order of ALLAH, the CREATOR.
Merely saying that we are all muslims and believe ALLAH's laws as perfect and the best is not going to do anything but only to raise a million-doller question that if shariyah is the best law to enforce, than why U guys are shying to implement it? What stops U (Muslim states) from doing that, while it is litrally casting shadow on ur Iman and definetely making ALLAH angry with U guys too. (For being disobidient to HIM).
So far we see only one shariyah-abiding nation, and such grave miscarriage of justice.
