For the record I was not arguing in their favour … I was giving you a possible mindset - explanation behind this move … People are driven by emotion and not reason … This move by Saudi is probably more about economics and solving internal issues rather than about racism … that is all … It does not make it right … but there are many unIslamic things the Saudis do … like build huge buildings near the Ka’bah and destroy Islamic heritage, that previous generations had preserved.

Think about it if you were faced with marrying as a Saudi … and you look to all the Saudi women who want to be treated like princesses and are highly costly - men might start looking to other nations … When practice of this becomes a trend or the government see that happening as a trend then they might try to stop it - but putting bans on … it is a silly move - because the outside world will perceive that as racism - as you have … it might well be racism - but it is possible it is not.

The only way it wouldn’t be racism is if they banned all other races from marrying Saudis but they ban only 4 nationalities. Why so much emotion associated with these 4 nationalities? How will this ban help them with economic and internal issues. Why not ban African women or women from other asian countries like India? How do we know this will save cost compared to banning other nationalities.
It’s racist just like Kuwait banning Pakistani visas a while ago.

I want to believe like you that it is not racism and i really feel for Pakistanis who believe they have a deep, unbreakable bond with Saudis more than another nation.I especially feel for Pakistanis who say they have ancestors from Saudi Arabia and they feel more beautiful because of “Arab” looks because this must be disappointing for them. I wish you guys were treated much better and had special visa benefits in return.I wish this love and emotion was reciprocated. Yet news like this does not make me feel it is as appreciated. Not when Pakistani troops are going to help Saudi Arabia with ISIS.
