Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

The Westerners especially Americans are more concerned about their own interests (read: Israeli interests) than about democracy, freedom of speech, etc.
But the real irony is that, even though Egyptian government is very secular and suppresses a popular pro-Islam Ikhwan, the Saudi monarch who considers himself “champion” of Islam, is calling these demonstrations “FITNAH”!

RIYADH: King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has expressed his support for Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and his nation slamming those inciting Fitnah (chaos) and tampering with Egypt’s security and stability, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported Saturday.

Besides fitnah, another important word used here is the Saudi’s yearning for “stability”. This is exactly the argument used by Zionists in Israel and America when supporting Mubarak. That he brought STABILITY. To them stability which helps them further their interests (Israeli interests) is more important than a police state run by a dictator.
Saudi is here using the very same language of Israeli Zionists.

The guy has no shame in supporting a Western-backed dictator who signed peace deals with the terrorist occupiers of Quds.

THE possible fall of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak confronts Israel with the possibility that its own geopolitical situation in the region could sharply deteriorate.

Egypt under Mubarak has been the major force for stability in the region since the signing of the Israel-Egypt peace agreement more than three decades ago in the wake of the Yom Kippur War.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

They think everything is Fitnah.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

Saudis and Ikhwan are bitterly opposed to each other. Iranian and Ikhwan are bitter opposed to each other. Saudis and Iranians are fierce rivals. Try understanding the politics in muslim world.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

Saudis are just worried the people of Arabia might topple them.....Highly unlikely but you never know..

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

Down with the firouns! :dhimpak:

Saudi royals are famous traitors, so no suprise on thier stance here… apart froma handfull of men most of the house of Saud is not worthy of being in charge of a goat herd let alone a kingdom.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

Well they are doing exactly what the Americans and the EU is doing. They are just a puppet regime as well.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

That's hardly surprising.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

After Tunisia, that is what people said about Egypt, too. Now, Mubarak is barely clinging to power in Egypt. I bet he is trying to find a country that would take him, like Ben Ali of Tunisia. Next could be Syria & possibly Jordan.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

I was watching some interviews of protesters on CNN, and I believe that if Muburak is overthrown and a government, that is born out of the will of the people, is put in power, the peace treaty with Israel is pretty much dead. There is a lot of hatred for Israel, and the way they treat Palestinians, on the streets of Egypt. Wouldn't be surprised if this possibility scares the **** out of the Saudis as well.

I'm not so sure that Mubarak is trying to find a country that will take him in. The man is like a stubborn stain, he is going to cling on to power as long as he can and he will probably do anything to stay in power, including ordering the army to start shooting live ammunition into the crowds. He's 82 as well, the only reason why anyone as old as him would ever be this power hungry(rather than just going off into the sunset and pretty much retiring like Ben Ali did) is if he has some plans that have yet to be put into motion, and I think his plans are to install his son Gamal as the next dictator/pharaoh before he gives up the presidency and he will pretty much die trying to do exactly that.

Pulling the cops off the streets so that the Egyptian people(including the protesters) will become disillusioned by lawlessness and beg Mubarak to restore order was only one of his plans to retain power, and it was ruined by civilians forming their own groups to protect their properties. Right now I think he's trying to wait out the protesters until the protesters get tired and run out of food. Hopefully that plan will fail as well.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

Saudi might be doing it for two reason,

1) They don't want the "Virus" to spread across the red-sea ( glimpse of what seen in Jeddah the other day)
2) To protect their and Americans Interest in Eygpt

I won't be surprised if Imam-e-Kaaba visit Cairo... or issue a fatwa like statement in the favor of Mubarak's govt.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

^^^ I doubt that. I'm sure Imam-e-Kaaba doesn't wants to lose credibility by backing secular Egyptian dictator turning on his own people.

BTW, as for royal family goes, they are as corrupt and repressive as Mubarak is, and I think most educated Saudis knows that. Question is would they go out and challenge the clergy and royal family who in are cahoot in running KSA.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

^^ That is what i am looking forward to... i guess we have to wait and see...

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

WRONG.....Iran and Ikhwan have had reasonably good relationship. One which has been able to look beyond sectarian differences.....faith-wise too I think that Egyptian Sunnis are closer to Shias than ihabitants of any other Sunni country in the Muslim world.....

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

btw
the joint opposition leader in egypt is Mr. Bradei (Ex. IAEA president). and i think he wil have full US support to take over from Mubarak. Ikhwan will be ikhwan.. they will never be the rulers.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

^^ I agree to that, Mubarak will be replace with Bradei, who like Mubarak will make sure that nothing good happens for Egyptians...

I never liked this Bradei guy anyway...

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

Well.. apparently Ansar Abbasi just said on Geo that this is an American conspiracy.

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

why this JI-virus never able to amuse me .. yeh everything is American conspiracy .. .:rotfl:

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

George Galloway comments on Egypt and says Saudi Arabia might the next one in line

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

I guess he is right, Hosni Mubarak is 81 years old and America, he was losing grip because of his health and other things, he was trying to appoint his son as his successor, which could have led massive protest and lay foundation for revolution which can bring those forces in power which are not liked by Americans

So wisely enough US wants someone who can be depended and can continue what Jamal Abul Nasir started, for this Al-Baradi is right candidate, he may introduces some reforms but one thing is certain in the whole show, no one who can pose any threat to US interest can even come near to the power corridors... Army has been running country since they over threw the King of Egypt... and they will continue to run it..

If i am right, in one one leaks in wikileaks, they were talking about the change in the govt. of Egypt in 2011, i don't know if i have recalled it right, but it was something like that...

Re: Saudi calls Egypt demonstrations as FITNAH and yearns for STABILITY

The Saudi Royals are the biggest fintah themselves on this God's earth ..

I have never seen /met or read about these Saudi royals ( and indeed they are among world 's richest people ) doing some good for Muslim Ummah .
