Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
Khartoonie…is that your way of saying you don’t know what Misyar is? I didn’t mean to not want you to enlighten us, all I said was that most of your replies are on the ‘defensive’ side of the issue. You are trying so hard to defend that crappy country that your responses are almost as if someone is holding a gun to your head.
So do you know the answer to the two questions? Misyar, and Saudi female marrying a non-Arab and her citizenship status?
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
oh dont worry to much about suroor, one day she will have her ass beaten by her own kind like the things they do to the girls in her own country of pakistan.
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
well, whenever i have been there, i was always free to practice my religion without any restrictions.
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
Madheeho Junab, u know u the meaning of JUNAB? NO...okie lemme specify for ur sake. It is spelt in Urdu. Jeem-Noon-Alif-Bay. Now here's what it actually means. Jeem for Jahil. Noon for Naliaq, Alif for Ullo, and Bay for BUdhoo!!!
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
Well now, the sole purpose of going there is not to miss out on visiting the historical sites…such as Makah and Madina. Saudia pretty much is a desert on the Easter Province (my area). Khobar is worth seeing. Its serene, clean and a beach city. Bahrain is only 30 mins away or less if the traffic on the bridge is less
Get the visa etc forehand. Its beautiful! Oh the dunes outside khobar are quite something to hop around on. They have those monster motorbikes which u can ride around up and down on the dune…lol…yeah ladies welcome too. If you are into shopping, make sure u take loadza cash. Oh and you can bargain your head off with the shop keepers. They are the most generous ppl er merchandizers I’ve ever ever come across on this planet. Esp’ if you are in a mall, a dude will walk over all the way from his shop, give u great deals right there on the spot. Gold is so cheap there (esp’ comparing to Pak or any other place). Although buying jewelry at malls can be more expensive but the specialty markets have great prices. Just ask ask ask…anyone u meet on the street u ask where to go. Its a great fun experience going in circles sometimes trying to discover the place u want to go to. Before u do go…learn the basics words of arabic. Esp numbers from 1-10 and then the units in tens i.e. 20,30,40 till 100. Think of the words u’ll be using the most and learn the arabic to it. For eg…how much is this=cum hada qulo? (total).
The roads there are so much fun to watch. Anyone driving feels like the king of the road. lol. U can drive to your heart’s content with no specified speed limit. That too ur car stereo blasting away loud music.
Desert camping is such a hit. U see hundreds of ppl with their luxurious tents lit at night in the desert…out for a campout. Hmm..almost every mall there has a mini theme park (great to visit with kids). And the thing I loved the most was. EVERYTHNG IS HALAL. Even the bacon lol. You will find more restaurants, brandstores, and such a variety of culture there than any other place. They have like minature china towns…Pakistani/Indian Bazar…West tuo khair pora KSA hi hie.
Sigh I miss KSA ![]()
well As long as u don’t plan on breaking the law there, and keeping ur id on u …u will be fine. They aren’t as bad as percieved by ignorants around us. Every country has an up and down side. Depends solely on a personal perspective how u want to look at it. So anyone who’s an ass to begin with shall have dimented views. SOmeone who is sane and balanced will have a fair outlook.
Anyway…if u need more…just holler!
Regards: DB ![]()
ps. BTW if u’re into sight seeing…get a tour booklet on KSA. If u can’t find one. Here’s what u do. Go into any bookstore…esp’ Jarir (my fav) and pick up the local post cards. They have great tips on what to go looking for. Thats how I got around
Oh and btw…if u’re a guy just call anyone ya shaikh…ya habibi…lol…it’ll grant u instant plus points. Ya akhi is better sub for girls ![]()
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
DB – with all due respect and camel greetings, Khobar is a piece of shyt, and so is Dammam and Dhahran. Total pieces of shyt. Kulu ****tun! Kharban…
Where the hell did you think that Eastern Province is all desert (desert does have it’s beauty)? Jubail is another piece of shyt.
There are some really neat places in the Eastern Province. I think al-Ahsa (about 200 km from Khobar) is a beautiful town, and earthy mounds (with an excellent old Souk). I loved that place, and it’s people. Qateef (you know where that is) is also another beautiful little village. But my most favorite one is Taroot (about 30 km from Jubail) is considered one of most beautiful towns in the WORLD. It is older than the oldest Indian cities.
I think you Petroleum and camel people know jack about Saudi Arabia.
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
… do as u wish but u can’t call khobar a piece of cow-dung that you’d rather hold so dear to ur heart instead comparitive to the places u’ve called sh**![]()
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
ha! Look who’s talking. So my post did its wonders and it did made u go in complete opposite direction and praising the beauty of KSA. haha…
Some lamehead hypocrite you are!
Jubail and Qateef are the prettiest little things one ever sets their eyes on.
ps. Btw…Greetings to you too cow worshiper…(I can get dirtier just with that… but sigh I can’t stoop as low as you do Madeeho … too bad darnit)
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
DB, in my previous job, I traveled to the Eastern Province a few times, but sadly on very short work related trips. I think Saudi Arabia has a lot of potential. It just needs to open up a little (a lot actually). If the restrictions are lifted, it can be a good place to work and live. I have some great pics, that I will post someday. You wouldn’t believe but I met many Buddions in the desert and flirted with their ladies. I have photos to prove it.
DB... Jubail sucks. What are you talking?
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
^No Jubail rocks dude! Whatcha talkin about.... I do agree with you on this former reply. Finaly u talk sense :) Its a beautiful country with plenty to offer if only it losen ups a bit. OOoh I do want to go back on all costs...but...:(
ps. Why it sucks Jubail? Bad experience or something? Espain plz...
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
Because it looks like a one big factory. that's why. There's no character to the town. You may like it, but I don't like towns without character. It looks like friggin a town in New Jersey minus the grass.
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
Since Madhanee uncle is not getting the kinda of answers he was looking for and that always makes him angry and forces him to go in different directions, so I decided to do him a favor. I got hold of a foreign worker in Saudi Arabia and asked him all of Madhanee's questions, and his responses are reproduced verbatim as follows. Hopefully they will make Madhanee uncle really happy.
Madhanee: Do they have right to practice their religion?
Foreign Worker in Saudi Arabia: No freedom :( If you are not a muslim (and not gora) they treat you like $hit. They call us "miskeen" and "rafeek", which is all very very bad. Our hearts are broken every time we hear it. If it were not the power of riyaal keeping me there, I will move to Amreeka in a heartbeat.
Madhanee: Are there any public movie houses?
Foreign Worker in Saudi Arabia: No public movie houses. Its so bad. I had to watch "Hum Dil De Chuke Tumhein" on a pirated DVD and the quality was so bad, you won't believe. This is really the biggest problem all foreign workers in Saudi Arabia face. I'd love to see Rani Mukerjee on a large screen. Saudi Arabia is very bad. And very sad too.
Madhanee: Can women drive around?
Foreign Worker in Saudi Arabia: No. What a nuisance really. All women have to go around in a cab. Its all a conspiracy by cab drivers, I tell ya! Very bad Saudi Arabia.
Madhanee: Do women have to cover themselves to go out?
Foreign Worker in Saudi Arabia: Yeah. They have to cover from head to feet in a burqa and then wear the Darth Vader mask. Its suffocating, man. I tried it once, and almost choked to death. Its so bad. All Foreign Workers in Saudi Arabia should revolt against it.
Madhanee: Can women go out alone?
Foreign Worker in Saudi Arabia: No man. They can't. Its such a hassle. They have to be accompanied at all times. Its very bad. Very he bad.
Madhanee: And those who lived there, would they like to go back if the opportunity presents itself (females in particular).
Foreign Worker in Saudi Arabia: No way. I will stay away from there. Its so bad. Saudi Arabia is very bad. Very very bad.
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
LOL!
Now now, faisal bhai, taNg utna hi kiya karen jitna doosra seh sakay – zyada karnay say gunah milay ga (ie refusal of a SA visa)
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
Faisal uncle, to the contrary, it makes me sad to see how our Paki brothers live in denial and believe that everything is alright even when the shyt is staring them right into their eyes. I asked these questions so I could learn if Pakis living in the land of Ibn-e-Saud al-Azizi wa aulad-e-Camel bin Sadiqi indeed know a little bit about the country they live in. What I have learnt so far is that they like nice clean big tall buildings, a little bit of beach (although one goes in Abaya – no topless beaches there yet, but soon Inshallah), some bootlegged malls, and they also like big roads, bi-ways, and 29 Karat gold jewelry. What they don’t appreciate is the antique Arabia (the places I mentioned) and most who live there never venture outside of their little comfort zones – i.e., Khajoor factory – Pakistani schools in Khobar or Judiah – a friend’s house – shaworma – once in a while go to the airport to receive cousin Mohammad Mushtak from Gujrat. That’s their lives. And yes, of course, the neighborhood Maseet. Do you call it living? I guess some people have low expectations for themselves and set fairly low standards for themselves (I am talking about Saudis now, and not Pakis). Pakis are good.
As I mentioned, I spent a little time there, and met a whole bunch of Pakis/Indians among folks from other countries. Foreign workers there work very hard (for a very little money) and have absolutely no rights whatsoever. It hurts me to see that. If a fukin Hindu is busting his ass in 118 degrees sun shining up his unholy black ass, the least you can do is to let him build a temple.

Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
madhanee is mad honey or have become khochal need to be replaced!
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
well its still better than whats done in ur “kind”.
u have an obsession with me dont u? out of all the crap madhanee said, u picked on my words. ![]()
no wonder ur “kind” is in the ignorant state right now.
u r marrying into “our” kind as well. beware of all the ass beating that can happen to u.
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
Daysee Behna :Are u talking about Riyaad Girl? In Khobar/ Dammam I was seeing mini skirted ladies, with bare legs wearing just baray-nam abaya...having real big time hairdos and what not, nobody said a word to them.
*they must be one of the mistresses. i am talking about jeddah where things are bit relaxed. riyadh is pretty strict though, i've seen religious police with huge dandas roaming around. *
Just going to the malls there totally changes the stereotypical images one may have in mind of KSA women. There was not a single woman that did not had highlights or original colour of their hair...err...skin too (plastered down with powder/foundation)
yep they are "women only malls" though. **
Ex2: A friend of mine walked 10 blocks alone at night from the hospital back to her apartment, yet alone picking me some grocery items on the way. I sure was amazed but she said if u walk on the busier streets its safe.
*nope u have to be with someone mehram or another woman to go out on the busy streets. its not safe to go alone period. *
As far as rape is concerned... well I can only say this ignorance may lead to plenty of distressed situations. If one is smart ... they will be able to get by in any country or land. If not...too bad fate shall grant them quite the same where ever they may be. Even in North America. Where did you see the elder lady getting beaten up?
*not true, arabs are horny ***s. there are no laws to protect women there at all. rape is pretty common there, more so than any country in the world. their maids get beaten up and raped almost every day. especially among the rich sheikhs and no one can do anything about it. and this is common for all the arab countries. i saw the elderly woman beaten up in mecca actually. her hijab slipped, and she was barely able to walk when this religious police came and started hitting her with the danda to fix her scarf. pretty pathetic really. *
Re: Saudi Arabia – A Free Nation
^U are a walking talking contradiction to your own existence I must say. I disagree with your reply. But then again my eyes have caught your signature: Sorry wrong number ![]()
