She definitely looked pretty on this day. Her makeup was better and so were her clothes. So wait, why did they have 2 receptions? Sialkot and Lahore aren't too far.

Maybe Hydrebadis do it differently then(?) Again, I say, sangeet dates back to when my great gran was young. They had no TV then lol It's definately not about 'fitting in' as some of you are suggesting. I think different parts of India do it differently.

Did they call it a "sangeet" back in your great-grandmother's generation? Or did they have an event under a different name where they sang songs (I have a hard time believing she was doing a lot of dancing in front of her guests back then).

I hate Firdous Ashiq Awan!! why is always around the couple! these pics are taken when they are entering their valima hall… and she here too!! :S …Shoaib’s mother should have been beside the couple instead of her!! argh!!.. fazool aurat!
i have seen her so many times in short shirt.i think indian gals dont like long shirt.:D.you can see them wearing short shirts in their soaps and sania is doing the same.
thanx God she didnt wear that tikkah.
news anchors also have dicsussed about this very tikkah on tv saying why sania is wearing the same tikkah repeatedly.
