bought the Samsung OEM C-Pen stylus this afternoon… apparently it’s a specific accessory for the SIII. Will report back on how good it actually is.

Here’s my opinion based on a day of sporadic use :

  • good on the bare screen… not so much if you’re using a screen protector.

  • the fine tip makes for easier writing experience in many apps (I tried Handrite, SPad, SMemo and Write).

  • it’s still not as efficient as I’d like it to be - i.e. I can’t write as fast as I normally would in a meeting environment. I’m also comparing my experience with the stylus on my tablet which works better.

  • would I recommend it? for $20 - $25, it won’t hurt to try it out and see if you like working with it.
