No during my iftaar I put my S3 and Air aside as I'm afraid I may spill some chai in excitement of seeing food after so so long :(

PS: Anyone ready for some modding? ![]()
Re: Samsung Galaxy S III Club @ GS
Thanks for the links Rayan… I tried them out but opted for the stock touchwiz interface.
For now I’ve resorted to decompiling APKs and making the changes I want to the icons/labels etc. and recompiling them back. It’s a little tedious but that’s the only way I could really personalize the interface.

^^ LC, it's been 3 days into your 14 days already. Waiting to see what your phone will look like a few days from now :D
Re: Samsung Galaxy S III Club @ GS
^ Niksik... I'm pretty much done with most of the installs and porting of data as well as preliminary personalization of the device to my liking.
I'm just very very eager to root it and get my advanced apps installed and running.
Re: Samsung Galaxy S III Club @ GS
BTW folks, any suggestions for a security suite for the android?
I had AVG on the old phone but am revisiting my choices once again. I need something for antivirus + ID theft protection
Someone I know was recently a victim of ID theft through her iPhone device and I'd rather explore all options now that I'm configuring my device from scratch. With so much personal data stored on our phones these days (banking, CC/wallet, contacts etc.), better be safe than sorry.

^^ I'd like to know that too. I think Tofi will be able to shed light on that. I have no clue.

I install DroidWall as soon as I root my phones so I can control which app can talk to the internet. Also AdFree is an app that keeps ads from displaying (some ppl may not agree with the bypassing of the ad-revenue traits of apps).
For identity theft make sure your email is protected with a very strong password. I have a 2 factor authentication turned on for my Gmail account so it asks me for a username/password and then a PIN (which only my phone can generate). So even if somebody has my creds they can't login without my phone. I'm sure uss ka bhi thorh ho ga kissi ke paas :)
I started doing this when i noticed that there was somebody logged into my gmail account from Europe and then another time from far-east. Anyhow, the app that you want is Google Authenticator. I use it for my email and my LastPass accounts. I tried using Yubikey but it was a bit more cumbersome.
