If he can listen to instructions, change his attitude to other players (by not thinking he is it) and not be obsessed with speed and more on getting wickets and sami is not kicked out to make way for him, then yes he should come back.

Sami is in for sure, he is not going anywhere. Its Umer Gul who has to make place for himself and Abdul Razzaq/Azhar Mehmood to prove their bowling skills.
As far as new ball attack of pakistan is concerned, Sami has definitely solved the problems for PAkistan. He along with Shoaib make a fearsome bowling duo. Both consitently bowl over 150 Kph mark and to compliment them we have a new containing bowler in Umer Gul. Sami has come to the fore after being on the sidelines for two years now. He has shown he can lead an attack and today he showed that he has the potential to run through a top order.
I can tell you for sure, this Umar Gul won't last more than 2 or 3 tours. He needs to improve very much as a bowler, I'm not talking about the speed, but if you are going to bowl tight deliveries, you need to have some sort of tricks up your sleaves.
M Sami and Shoaib Akhtar will almost be like Wasim and Waqar of early 90s. The only thing we need is a 3rd speedy bowler, Razzaq's bowling isn't looking too good these days.
Maybe in the upcoming tours, we need to bring in guys like Abdul Rauf or Fazl E Akbar.
True that this guy has potential and he had a good tournament.
But dont praise him too much.He will get spoiled and may go Shoib's way.Dont start calling him sensation and next Wasim.
True that he has shown some potential.Let him be consistant for another 1-2 years.
Yeah right!
When poor Nehra takes 7 wickets under good bowling conditions, he is praised as the next Wasim Akram.
M Sami is a very good bowler, and he has done very well for the past 2 years, too bad he hasn’t gotten any chances.
Yeah, he is one of the very few bowlers in cricket to claim a hatrick both in one days and test, now that is an amazing achievement.
What do you mean by Shoaib’s way?
Shoaib has an avg of 21 in ODI cricket, so he will only go up if he is going to be Shoaib.
*Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Sami will most likely be bowling in tandem in the one dayers to be played in England in the coming months; can't wait to observe that scene. People, That Is All.*
guys whats the deal abt Mohammed Zahid being All Mighty. Has anyone even seen him lately. He is nothing like when he first came to the international scene. I did'nt see him the first time he came but rite now....hes nothing but ordinary. His action, his pace ... its all average.
On the other hand Mohammed Sami...is a exciting prospect for the future. He's got pace, and ability to turn the ball, both ways. I see him and Shoaib Akhtar, along with Abdul Razzak, leading Pakistans pace attack.

A great opening bowler....well supported by Umar Gul who is also bowling tight....but Amir Sohain hinted that Shoaib Akhtar will be back soon if he wasn't joking then i'll lose respect for Amir Sohail coz we don't need that Shoaib Akhtar anymore coz all PCB does is pay for his trips to england/aus for his treatments n all n he doesn't do $hit....if he just bowls in one game n then is out we don't need him...got better ones on the line

Akhtar will be back....if he can get his head in place n if he can bowl a tight line n length....i think we should take him....coz we havent got ny1 who can really tear the batting of a strong side apart(besides sami....to an extent)....akhtar has done that several times!
i heard sarfaraz nawaz in an interview.....he was sayin that the doctors taking care of akhtar....rnt the rite ppl for that kind of a fast bowler.
akhtar is yet to repay for the investment in him by the board.
Damn right he's got to pay the investment the board put into him in the form of wickets, and he better do it quick time if he gets a chance back into the team.
