Man...Sami must be born under a lucky star...or maybe he has connections in the PCB like Farhat and Iqbal...how can they select this guy?
Id rather see Shoaib Akhter back...while he's another drameybaaz..at least he's a good bowler unlike Sami who will never be anything more than a club level bowler.

The good thing about Sami is that he gives a very late-90s early 00s feel to the team, u think sahi hai pit raha hai lekin Wasim Akram will be coming on soon.

Sami apparently is not happy with his current test bowling average of 51.37 (from 33 tests). He wants to push it into the 60s!

the best thing about Sami's batting is that he plays with a very straight bat. unfortunately for us, he also believes in only bowling straight and overpitched.
he doesn't want to be rude by swinging or seaming the ball and creating problems for the other team. he's just too nice.

here is the disastrous scenario. He gets a chance in couple of games towards the end of the series and he performs well on bowler friendly wicket and then we will be confirmed in the team for next 4/5 series even on batting friendly wickets where he will be bashed around :(

Our nightmares guaranteed now guys. Sami get NOC from ICL, clearing him to travel to Australia...
KARACHI: Fast bowler Mohammad Sami has received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Indian Cricket League (ICL) and is set to fly to Australia after the completion of travel formalities.
‘I received NOC from ICL today and despatched it to Pakistan Cricket Board,’ Sami told APP during his visit at National Stadium on Thursday.
Sami was recalled after two years away from the national team for the tour of Australia on the request of skipper Muhammad Yousuf and the team management.
Karachi based Sami has taken 81 wickets in 33 tests at an average of 51.37 but has performed far better in ODIs with 118 scalps in 83 matches at an average of 26.49.
He expressed the hope that he would come up to the expectations of the team and followers of the game.
Mohammad Sami has been recalled in the team keeping in view his experience and the bouncy tracks in Australia. The team will take on Australia in the opening test of the three match series at Melbourne from Dec 26.—APP

To be honest I don't want you to be sitting even in the dressing room as a reserve player. That spot could be used by some young bowler willing to learn from a great bowler like Waqar and use that knowledge to further improve himself. Something a loser like you never did.
