This issue wasn’t an issue until 90’s…apparently…this has confused even many RADICALS in the U.S…It has pushed them to think like a conservative person…anyways…this could add another amendment to the U.S. Constitution…Which would allow same-sex-marriages!! I am absolutelyyyy against this new law…however, our new generation seems to have NO problems with gay people being married to one another…:s…I think this is morally incorrect..and it makes no sense to have a man being married to another man!!..and a WOMAN being married to another WOMAN…!! IN a long run, this will mess upp our whole community, there will be no morality..no sense of traditionssss…!!..BUT STILLL…OUr NEW GENERATIONNNN thinksss that gay people are just as equal as ussss…and they should be given their civil rightsss…they are no less of a humannn…!!..
GEEZ,of courseee they are just as equal as us…and nobody is banishing them from the land…they are not forced to isolate themselves either…they could get married but don’t make this an issue…don’t spread this like a wildfire in our societyyyy!!..the bigger this issue is, the more GAYS we are going to have in our society later on…!! let’s just imagine a situation here…!! two persons of same sex orientation get married to each other..and adopt a kid…they nourish a kid with their ways..teaching them MORALS…(what Morals exactly is this kid going to have???) when the kid gets on his own sometime later in his life…he is going to do what he has seen all his life…meaninggg his GAY parents =(a girl getting married to a girl..and a boy getting married to a boy)…EVEN THOUGH that kid isn’t a gayyy..he will start thinking like a gay person and will probably end up getting married to a GUY…!! so now you tell me…should same-sex marriage be allowed ??? or should the government ban this law in the U.S.??
dude.....i know this is not an issue for muslims....but are we not ALLOWED to be concerned about issues like this..especiallyyy when we are living in society that is easily influenced by a trend like this one!!!???
and this is not even about BUSH.....he has a minor role in it.....we are about to have elections and some candidates favor this law........which is whyyyyy this is an issue......and if the majority votes in favor..then the U.S. wwill have a new amendmenttt......
its human nature to reject or hate things they dont understand. these morals and rules are set by religions and society, no one is asking u to accept it nor anyone cares if u reject it.
Please vote against this epedemic at all levels.
Do not allow groups to gain grounds on this issue of gay marriages.

And I think we are better off having one issue than tons instead...

america does not have any real morals because it is a secular country.
it is not possible to have a genuine moral framework without the belief in a divine sovereign.
the few watered down christian morals that remain in their society will soon deteriorate, trust me it’s only a matter of time.
without a religion (which a person believes to be divine) how can one argue that one form of morality is any better or worse than another?

Sure.... lets be concerned.. just like we should be concerned about Riba, Dating, Drinking, and other social evils which have already become a "trend" not only in US but even in our Muslim countries... Being concerned about one social evil will not get one anywhere.... have to address the root causes ....

Who says that you have to bang someone to show your "Love", "Security", and "Care" ..... there are many other relationships in life where you want to make these attributes felt but you don't necessarily have to be sexual...
im confused... if same sex people are married, will their sexual activities be considered ok? i mean what is the REAL reason for them getting married? to show commitment? these days marriage means nothing... not even to different sex couples...

I beg to differ.. marriages mean a lot .... even today... yes as we are indiscriminately adopting more and more from the western culture and as a result we have negative impact on the values concerning marriages and many other social aspects of our culture …
Kids lookup to their parents for almost every thing… they learn tons from them even when the parents are not making conscious effort of teaching them… Kids are good observers and adopters… seeing their parents being GAY will have a GAY impact on their mentality…
Office environment is different, although it can also have an impact but you work there with a different motivation… You don’t look up to your boss for moral guidance… at least in most cases

true, but its still doesnt mean they cant be good parents
dont get me wrong, i dont agree with same sex marriages or being gay, but i wouldnt condemn someone for being gay and deny them the upbringing of a child..
