Salons

Re: Salons

I wanted red streaks and got them done @ Ather Shehzad..but the color I showed and wanted was more like red-grapes...and they did a stark punk red! I was fuming..and did throw a fit =) got it fixed...and they are xtremely careful now..

Re: Salons

Okay why are the aunties at the desi salons so weird??? :smack:
There’s one i go to for my eyebrows, and i thought i had found a good one…til i realized she’s kinda racist and just really really weird.
and allot of the ones i go to are just really unprofessional and dumb. :smack:

Re: Salons

Umm can someone tell me what prices Raheela usually charges? I had vowed never to go to her again but one of my gori friends was insisting on going there to get her first thread job ever and I couldn't say no... and the big nose ugly aunty Sanna charged us both $11 for eyebrows and upper lip....and then we gave a $2 tip each... my cousin told me that last time she went she swears it was only $7 or $8... did the trick overcharge us???

Re: Salons

^ lmao @ trick :omg:
another place that’s like a few blocks away is Amy’s, they suck too.

Re: Salons

I’ve never been to ammy’s. I know an arab lady who does threading from home and she does a good job… but it’s too far and adds up to like ten dollars for eyebrows considering the bus fares :vivo:

LOLLL....

I think the 'trick' overcharged you coz you were with a gori. One of desi salon aunties told me they have different(read higher) prices for goray people. :D

Re: Salons

thats so messed up!! but that woman sanna doesn’t like me anyway… when I used to before she was so snotty and rude… like she was doing some favor to me… gosh some people seriously need to learn to stay in their okaad…

Re: Salons

tell me about it!! i always have to change salons coz it seems like once they know you like what they do they start giving you crappy treatments!

Re: Salons

^ raheela’s is usually full of high school girls who dont’ know what they’re doing… and the older aunties jus thave no knowledge of how to do a business or care for their customers. last time i was at raheela’s, i needed to get my eyebrows done and they were just standing around doing nothing, and when they finally decided to do mea favor and start my brows, my friend called and i had to go, so i ran off. :halo:

the one i’ve been going to the last few months, omg she insults her non-desi customers to their face! she waz telling me that one customer had hte “kuttay ki shakal” :smack: and she said that she usually charges non-desis more for some things that she didnt charge me for.
