Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been questioned by Bombay police after an accident in which one person was killed and three others injured.
A case of rash and drunken driving has been registered against Khan in connection with the incident, which took place early on Saturday morning.
Police say Khan fled from his first floor apartment when a group of police officers arrived to question him.
But a few hours later, he turned himself in for questioning at a city police station.

The accident happened around 0300 local time.

Police are continuing to question Khan, whose Toyota Land Cruiser was involved in the incident when it lost control near a roadside bakery in the northern suburb of Bandra.
Police say Khan was driving the vehicle and was accompanied by his personal bodyguard, provided by the Bombay police.
He was given protection after receiving threats from the Bombay underworld in recent weeks.
One man who was sleeping outside the bakery was killed on the spot. Three others, including two children, were seriously injured.
History
It is not the first time Salman Khan has been in the news for the wrong reasons.
He has been arrested before for the illegal hunting and killing of a deer - that case is still with the courts.
Last week he was in the news for allegedly beating up his girlfriend, the reigning Bollywood Queen and a former Miss World Aishwarya Rai.
In an interview to the Times of India on Friday, Miss Rai said she had ended her relationship with Khan.
In the interview, Miss Rai also said she endured physical violence at the hands of the actor but decided to end their relationship once she realised he was also cheating on her.
