Tell me what you guys think about it.
The website has all the pictures - It wont let me save the pictures - I’d need an image editing program.

well, so much coverage to this film has been given that I know of all the star cast and which also includes the almighty Zara but the website is AWEEESOME! though your direct link doesnt work gudia you have to go the entertainment webiste’s homepage and then access the movie page from there.
But once there a really elegant site is waiting.
"Salakhien is being devoloped in the same labs that developed Spider-Man
The film has been shot locally at never-shot-before-locations in the north of Pakistan. The technical aspect of the film is also very different from previous Lollywood flicks. The entire development and processing of the film is being carried out in the same labs that have developed Hollywood blockbusters, Lord of The Ring and Spiderman. "
OH MY GOWD.
I never knew this day would come for our local cinema. Thank you Mr. Javed Shiekh and your YDAKH that jumped our movies forward technically.
I dont care how the movie is..I'm just gald to see Pakistan Advance...
Is that for real. You can actually see actor's face clearly. damn. at last they threw their 1947 cameras away.
The website looks neat and pretty professional presentation too :k:
yeh movie nai hai ke thori purani…i can’t seem to recall it being aired in cinemas lately ![]()
looks good though…:k:
DAIEMN! I knew last year's YDAKH stretched the technical boundries. Few agree the script was lame but that movie encourged producers and directors to move forward.
Anways, Salakhain is the biggest film of Pakistan film inustry currently. Cinema Scope said the movie had a budget of more than 15 caror.

whoaa
good to see pakistani cinema is becoming so high tech with websites and all :k: ![]()
but this bayhayai is what i dont like in our movies

our pakistani movies should be clean…:k:
really? I was kind of disappointed. I think some of the shots in the gallery section are a bit cheesy - nay, classless - a cheap imitation of indian movies.
Dekhtay hain.
lo jee, the attack of hypocrites begins.
see, i agree that our movies should be clean - like our dramas. But think of this. You know our Pakistani audience. Do you think our movies would sell if they were totally clean - and I mean like no short cholis, no deep necks, no excessive touching...
Keeping in mind competition from indian movies...
^aren't our dramas successful without vulgarity?
I'm confident that they draw a much larger audience than Indian/Pakistani films.

i am not a hypocrite ![]()
pyaric, i see ur point, but i still think that shudnt be a factor, we must stick to the levels of decency no matter what...thats more important...
and i agree with sambralian that our dramas are decent and a success...

I agree with everyone totaly but the fact is that DRAMA and movies are 2 different things. Audience has different expectaions from both of them, I am not only talkng about urdu movies but Indian also as the dramas and movies are different than each other and therefore people do tend to go for movies with a different perspective and face it I dunno much but I would say that young people or middle aged go for Pakistani movie whereas the mature audienceenjoys drama
→ link isn’t working ???
ya, link ain't working...
i know u guys didn't make up that whole conversation...

irem: PCG is very right…however much we hate to admit it. Taking what khiska hua said a step forward, films and dramas cater to two entirely different audience. Films have more of a commercial appeal, they should sell and the investors should recover the money they spent in its production…so they make, what sells in the market.
Why do you think movies like ‘Yeh Dil Aapka Hua’ have run for 100 consecutive weeks at Capri cinema? The money factor…dramon main yeh commercial aspect kam hota hai…wahan par aik drama aik pooray institution ka stake hota hai (the TV station..kyonke woh drama private-production walon se pehle he khareed lete hain…to tv ads se jitna bhi revenue generate ho ga, will be recovered by the institution. On the other hand, the sponsors who finance the film are relatively few in number…and are individuals, to they want to recover their investment as fast as they can-that’s what drives films the way they are going (not that i am agreeing that’s the way they should go. It’s much the same logic that i gave for appreciating ‘Moth Smoke’-it’s a shot of reality!) :~)
