Re: Salaam need advice about moving back to pakistan
^agreed with Shakespears quote. Until u actually experience it and then knw for definite if its good or bad. Not for everybody but for urself.
A few ppl now have given real life exteriences and have told u good or bad, but till u go for urself ur only thinking or assuming.
Re: Salaam need advice about moving back to pakistan
Very true. Dont do the whole, “oh I dont want them to become too westernized”; they will be to some extent if you live in the West, it’s normal. That does not mean that they will not be “good Muslims”. And moving to Pakistan also does not garantee they will be “good muslims”. Your job is to raise them to be good/considerate people and to understand and respect their religion. This can happen anywhere, in any country. What your children choose to do with what you have taught them is their own decision. But if you feel like you would be happier in Pakistan, then go for it. Just remember the grass always seems greener on the other side.

Hi Homesick! Just came across this post through a google search. We’re planning to move too. Since your post is around three years old, i was wondering you might be in a good position to tell how your experience went. I can relate to all the points you put here in the thread and comments. Too homesick! If you could share the good and bad it would be helpful! Thanks
