How about both
he just needs to trim and shape his beard, clean shave the other areas on his face.. he does a pretty bad job honestly. im thinking his shaver is to be blamed for that too.

oh no, if he needs to maintain the edges of his beard, razor is the answer, or he can use clippers. Shaver is not going to do that job
