Which one do you guys prefer. I have seen advantage/disadvantages in both.

Safety Razors:** I use the 3 blade cartridges. I have to soften the skin first (usually by face wash), apply the shaving gel and then shave two times (downwards and upwards strokes). Result is a more cleaner shave but fear of getting nicks and cuts. Takes more time.

Electric Shaver:** I use the dry one. It is excellent when you dont have much time. Somehow it does not give the same clean look as razor gives. The problem is with the motion. It stretches the skin when you force the shaver head on the skin and gives it circular motion and that is my concern about it. Do you think that over the period of time, you would have loose facial skin (not good for some one of my age). Is that a real concern?

yes makes sense, cause when I wont have any upper skin left of my face, where the heck those stupid hair will grow from
upper lips portion has very little of loose skin and more muscle control to stiffen that portion when you are pulling that thing off the skin. Cheeks, Throat and upper jaw does not have that kind of muscle control and lots of lose skin ..just my thoughts

Hmmm if you want to rip off the top layer of your dermis and look like a burns victim, then go for waxing… else, i would say that you can’t replicate the smooth finish that you get from a blade. Those electric ones are good if you’ve slept in and are in a rush, but if you adopt the right technique, blades will give you the best finish with minimal cuts and nicks.
I believe that a man’s facial hair is too coarse to wax off…it’ll take you a couple of tries to get it all off, and by then, your skin will be red raw…
But hey, don’t take my word for it…watch this…focus on watching the part where his GF waxes the same part of his face again, and again…and oh yeah…again…and the camerman’s manic laugh says it all
