How typical for people to blame the US just because they are appeasing the strange Middle Eastern culture. The US would NEVER publish such disgusting pics of corpses (even if they are of previously disgusting people) if it weren't for the bizarre ME culture that requires such 'proof'. Which in itself is bizarre beacause of the prevelant conspiracy theory attitude of the populace which wouldn't believe it anyway .

since u support the USA, you would know how close the brutal Saddam was to the US during the 1980s. They supplied him with arms for the war with Iran and helped him stay in power.
Ever seen that video of Donald Rumsfeld holding a meeting with Saddam when he was an 'ally'??
As suspected, Saddam’s sons faces have been reconstructed. Matsui, your sarcastic statement came true. :hehe: What a joke.
The U.S. military showed reporters the bodies of Odai and Qusai Hussein on Friday and said each body contained more than 20 bullet wounds. The faces had been partly reconstructed to appear as lifelike as possible.

More good news, reported that U.S. forces captured several of Saddam Hussein's personal bodyguards.

Funny how they want to capture useless bodyguards who probably know nothing, and "kill" the brothers who might have provided them useful information. The brothers aren't dead :)
I think that the arguements regarding whether it was or wasn't them is moot. The issue at this point should be a proper burial for the bodies...I am not speaking with a specific political ideology, rather as a humanist.
I do not believe Saddam his sons or the Baath party represents a challenge. Those attacks on US soldiers- an occupying army- come from many many different sources including Iranian Backed Shiites, Iraqi Nationalists, Pan-Islamists...Heck, I wouldnt be surprised if the occupation of Iraq bring Al-Qaeda into the picture. For all the Bush administration lies about the Iraq/Al Qaeda connections, they will be true AFTER the invasion.
I fear that Pax Americana is becoming a reality..All empires have fallen and America seems to be following that path. It is a real shame, because the American people, magnamious and great, will bear the brunt of the misguided neo-con policies.
To the America haters: Look up a poll, talk to an American and you will find that, it is the Administration and it's right wing base that is to blame. America can still continue to be a great country...as long as the real Americans step up.
