Is this a slap to the sunnis from the shias or what?! That’s how they’re showing it on al jazeera and to me it doesn’t really matter but what matters is if he was executed, Bush, Cheney along with the entire gov. behind the deaths of millions of Iraqis should also be put on the spot light.
Least we can do is impeach him.

When I heard about the 30 days I doubted they were ever going to make the date public and do it before any uprising would occur. Thats how, almost every major giulty party executes the former rulers. One is no better than the other.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Three years after he was hauled from a hole in the ground by pursuing U.S. forces, Saddam Hussein was hanged Saturday under a sentence imposed by an Iraqi court, an Iraqi official told NBC News.
The deposed president was found guilty over the killing of 148 members of the Shiite population of the town of Dujail after militants tried to assassinate him there in 1982, during Iraq’s war with Shiite Iran.
Asked if Saddam were dead, the official in the Iraqi prime minister’s office said, “Yes, the body of Saddam Hussein is in front of me.”

Its there today and he is executed on Eid Morning and more important thing is Iraqi law don't allow the execution of Eid or Haj day.

They wanna show muslims celebrating thier eid day as if they are celebrating the execution. May ALLAH swt insure that many anti muslim coalition forces are killed today and continuously after, Ameen... :)

The timing and how the execution was rushed all seems a little dubious to me, I was up at 3-4 am watching on Al-Jazeera, also The Iraqi authoroties decided his body will not be given back to his wife and daughters who are in Jordan.

I also found the timing rather odd, but I cant think of any reason why they would pick this particular day? Anyone got any thoughts on this?

the 9th day of Dhul-Hijjah before Eid ul-Adha is supposed to be when God pardons the most people from Hell... not just any people but people that had actually deserved Hell.
other people's deaths are meant to get you to reflect upon your own impending death. it's useless to bicker about what's going to happen to someone else. even if you think you know, you probably don't.
even a discussion on Saddam Hussein of all people yields nothing definitive after the fact. what were the odds he'd get executed on that day out of the entire year?

i heard on the news that some eye witness recorded the execution on his camera phone even though it was banned.
Also heard that many eye witnesses saw Saddam's soul(his rooh) leave his body, minutes before the execution - it was even seen on camera.
So which means he was somewhat special/ kinda spooky miracle what happened to his soul, that he died before the actual thing?.
I dunno how much of its true ,but i'm shocked...
