I don’t agree that this is a generalisation. If anything, to say everyone in Pakistan is a good Muslim would be a mass generalisation because nothing could be further from the truth.
I agree with the OP that ours is a nation that has generally gone astray (myself included). The vast majority of Pakistanis do not even fulfil the five pillars of Islam. I know the OP sounds preachy but it is good to have reminders once in a while, he is only fulfilling his duty as a Muslim.
