Re: Sad News

Inna Lilahi Wa Inna Ilehai Rajeoon. He has achieved martydom, although the pain that his family members will be going through Is unthinkable, but as far as his akhirat Is concerned, he Is one of the blessed one's.

Re: Sad News

Inna Lilahi Wa Inna Ilehai Rajeoon :(

Re: Sad News

Inna lillahe wa inna ilayhe raaje'oon.

A captain died in that battle and I believe he had gotten married about 7 months ago and perhaps he was from Bahawalpur. Is this the same captain?

Re: Sad News

He was a brave soul who was martyred performing his duty

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhee raajiuoon.

Re: Sad News

If you cannot offer consolation just skip the thread and move on, no need display insensitivity. All those killed were muslims and our fellow countrymen, right or wrong thats for God to decide.

Saadia very sorry to hear this, may Allah rest his soul in pease and grant those he left behind patience.

Re: Sad News

Thats exactly what I did. i only replied to the person who was being insensitive and you removed my post, Thanx.

Re: Sad News

bhai saab, leaving Sharaabi's post there would make more people address him and even try to get even (as a member tried suggesting he was sharaabi etc. which caused another member to come and defend people who drink ) thus taking the comments off-topic. In such a case removing sharaabi's post was the best thing to do. Now if I moved Sharaabi's post what is the point in leaving other posts that were a direct response to his with this original text quoted? That woud kind of defeat the purpose of moving his post IMO. I left my comment because I happen to be one of the moderators of the forum and saw it necessary to remind the posters not to use this thread to place blame on either party involved in the tragic events. If you wish to share this responsibilty with me please let me know and maybe we can get you to be one of the moderators, the more the merrier!

Re: Sad News

dat is the point shaheed never dies :). (i will backup my point asap :) )

Re: Sad News

Re: Sad News

n k dat is wat i find (but just to let u know i m not some scholar n neither a strong strong preacher, rather mentioning wat i studied couple of yrz ago). i m quoting some one else work, in which he quoted
Nay, seek (Allah's) help with patient perseverance and prayer: It is indeed hard, except to those who bring a lowly spirit,-

Al-Qur'an, 002.045 (Al-Baqara [The Cow])
and said according to this quranic verse shaheed is not dead it means he can hear us and among us :) n we must not say nna llilah...

p.s. MAY ALLAH SWT forgive me if i m providing wrong info. (AMEEN)
