Sachin Tendulkar Prolongs Career After News of McGrath and Warne Retirement

In an emergency news conference Indian batting maestro and the world’s record holder of most test centuries and runs has announced that he will play until his 50th birthday.

The decision was made following the announcement of Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath’s retirement reports earlier in the day.

It is believed that Sachin would now surpass the 50 centuries mark and 20,000 aggregate runs by the year 2020.

quite possible ;) He wants to make sure that noone ever breaks his record of most test centuries scored in lost matches.

Actually the team that really be celebrating Warne's retirement is Pakistan. Average of 47 against India. Damn..even Giles has done better than that.

McGrath has dismissed him most numbers of times in internatinal cricket.

And the news is Sachin will continue to play till he turns 52 as well but as long as Shoaib does not hit him again.

If you play more you get out more. Lets look at dismissal/Inning then you will have correct information. Also let look at the number of runs scored against AUS and compare it to any Paki batsman of any era

What r u trying to prove? That Sachin is a better bastman than any Pakistani bastman? Sure he's scored more runs, but if u think this thread is about the no. of runs against Sachin's name then u've missed the plot. This thread is just for fun. Lets keep it that way. Thanx.

When you play more you not only get out more but you score more runs too. You have nullified your own hypothesis.
