The way Tendu was playing I thought they would easily make 249 but boy didn’t know Tendu started smoking cigar too and he was quick to get back to dressing room for the last “suta”

Batting line-up is messed up. They send their big players very early and at the same time. You can not win matches by putting all of your eggs in the same basket. At 62, India lost both Dravid and Tendulkar, which is not the way to win games. If you send Tendulkar as opener, make sure Dravid is down in order to save the inngs and guide players like Raina and Dhoni.

Can't India find some excuse for not playing in SA and Australia? I mean the way they did when Pakistan have Imran, Waqar, Wasim and Shoaib, and they refused to tour Pakistan from 1989 to 2001?

Actually India's record against AUS in recent time is much better than Pak. It is Pak who should find out reason to not play Aus.
Some facts:
Last time Pak won a test against AUS was in 1996.
Also last 9 test matches that were played between 2 teams were lost by Pak.
Pak couldnot even draw a single one in last 6 yrs.

This must be most pathetic test record for any major test playing nation.

I agree, when Tendulkar and Dravid were on crease there was hope but as soon as they left I knew rest will crumble like the house of cards.

India is hanging between 'process' and 'application'. They need to revamp the strategy in less complicated way. Too much thinking can only earn a brain-dead state for one.

ODI:
In Aust till present 24/6 27/16 (yes 16)
Total 51/27 43/27

If when India is at its best, still have this stat then imagine, how it would be for a country with over One Billion population.

Further to this post, DO NOT forget that India has to wait over 50 years to won a single test in Pakistan, and still Pakistan won 12 tests and India only 8, and six of them in India.

Similarly, for ODI India only won 40 versus 64 by Pakistan, and most (11) of those 40 India won in recent years, i.e. post Wasim/Waqar/Imran era.
