akram is right..indian bowlers did'nt bowl fast enough..south africancs were hitting the pitch hard n getting more out of it.patel bowls at 78 79 miles an hour...a true vegeterian
^Hes muslim if im not mistaken hence most likely not a vegatarian. But true, he was suppose to be one of the two quickest bowlers in india, and he bowls 85mph at best.
^ when Munaf first came, he was supposedly over 90 mph. Typical of indian seamers. Their pace actually drops when they make debuts. Irfan Pathan, Balaji, Agarkar, Nehra etc etc.
Never heard of Patel muslim. May be just my lack of knowledge. Why don't India use all muslim and Sikh as fast bowlers in the team. This will eliminate vegetarian factor plus Sardar can bring in some much needed aggression with power.
