It agree it is a balanced squad. I think now is the time to say enough of rebuilding and lets deliver results with this squad. ....

Its only 6th month of rebuiding, originally they had asked for 1 year. Let them have 1 year then see the results, I think that'll be better.

Has Rashid been smart? Realising that the team which struggled to beat BD could get a good hiding from SA, so it would be best to resign and let Inzi take the blame. After the series try and claim back the captaincy, citing Inzi's failure. Just a thought. :)

Except for the problem that no one really expects Pakistan to beat SA (other than the optimists wearing rose-colored glasses) ... and hence expectations from the team and Inzi are not that high anyway. It will be hard for the board to fire Inzi from captaincy after we have been drubbed by the Afrikaans.

There is no smartness in this! Rashid was forced to resign after it became apparent that he would be fired anyway because of his criticism of the PCB and its selection committee and also because of being at serious odds with Sohail. Rashid obviously din't wanna go. And he is not one a' those who would play such games. He's too straight-forward and upright for that.

I knew that would get you all wound up. It was not a serious comment. just trying to lighten up the place. :smack:

Why would he need a Inzimam’s faliure if he was captain already

wasiey bhee Inzi and Rashid’s honeymoon is still on  as Inzi praised Rashid 100s of time with naming the series win to his name and Rashid has praised Inzi for his captainship

Waisey Inzimam captain hay kaisa? His own comments are that he is a SUST guy. Just wondering how will he ask guys to practice
“yaaaaar bha…i loog..on Peract…ice ker lo” :hehe:

plus we have nothing to talk about here, till the series actually starts. How much can we continue to praise the team and put our teams out, as if we are going to be deciding for Mssrs Sohail & Co.

Ehsan bhai, you got em :hehe:

Even i could sense the humor, whats up with ou guys :smack:

anyways, inzimam payee, best of luck… SA can be very very unimpressive as witnessed against England in second and final test. Our batters need to post big scores consistently.

wohoooo great news… i hope thr will be no hungama durin their stay :bhangra:

Goood Balanced squad...but I dont see a reason why Faisal Iqbal was included. The guy has failed miserbly whenever we have given him a chance. But its sad to see our best bowler Junaid Zia missing :( :(

Faisal Iqbal is one of the better batsmen Pakistan has got. During his debut against NZ d Martin Crowe said that he dont remmember a single bad shot played by Faisal Iqbal and that he has tons of talent :flower1:

Faisal Iqbal was very impressive and scored heavily in Academy tour to South Africa and thats why he is here IMO.

Boycott praised Imran Fahat a lot too after seeing him play the first time. That didnt get him as many chances as many Faisal has got. I know he is in the reserves for this series but with Misbah and Saeed Bin Nasir’s names missing I think recalling Faisal Iqbal was a bad decision.

I think pretty much every young Pakistani bowler or batsman has been praised by some pundit.
It doesn't grant them an automatic selection.

Faisal Iqbal does not have many technical defeciencies. He is Pakistan's future batting hero.

ab SA bahut pitayee kare ga..:(
