Im working at a big engineering company and the issue of alcohol came up last week, and one of the senior engineers who worked in Germany for a while mentioned that they have beer vending machines at work there! I should go tell him we have just about the same thing going on in Pakistan now

Irem, if you report it, Im pretty sure they will be expelled.

It is shocking. I dont know if u wud be able to raise ur point and make it an issue to be resolved. If it is a multi-national u are working for you wont succeed, thats my rough guess. I am told that in multi-nationals much of such obscenity plus more happen on routine basis.
