Are you sure it is only phollon ki patiyan that makes a palang rangla. By this definition, a palang used for rang raliyan is rangla palang?

"Dil wala" rangla plung is something else and filled with the rungs of love, emotions, desires, and obviously KUCH KUCH hona

But aren’t there any colorful beds in Punjab which are termed as ‘rungla palang’. Like in Sindh, Hala’s crafts contain Jandi work of beds.

No, I don’t think so that there are any and have never come across. For me, “rangla plaug” is one decorated with colorful flowers or colorful bedsheet

chhappar is something covered. that might be a charpai /khat that is covered

masehri is made of fine wood and it has a headboard and sometimes a canopy for machchhardaanii. it higher than a paland. it's headboard and legs are intricately designed and carved. it's simply way more expensive than a palang. it usually stays in one place because it's heavy. palangs are quite moveable.
