Yes it's true. Aziz is going back to New York. Benazir is becoming new PM while Musharraf continues to be the president. And the most surprising of all, Nawaz Sharif will be head of the armed forces.
On a serious note, I wouldn't be surprised if a plane carrying Benazir lands in Karachi or Lahore in not so distant future.

Mush had a lot of for praise for Shaukat Aziz in his book and now how would it look if he fires him and makes him the fall guy. Imagine someone reading his book years from now and then looking at what he did a within a year, what kinda impression they will have of Mushy.

how would it look for BB and her supporters if the man she speaks aganst and her followers go ballistic about, is the man she makes a deal with, for power. it goes both ways does it not?

why on earth would mush sack aziz? as far as deal with PPP is concerned, he has never completely ruled out 'dealing' with them. he is ideologically closer to BB or PPP than Sharif. a 'deal' with PML led by Sharif is simply out of question for him.

btw, BB becoming prime minister and Musharraf being able to strike a deal with PPP are two different things. i don't think BB or NS have a chance to become PM at least as long as Musharraf is in charge.

Shaukat Aziz is not popular with the mass. Its about time capable leaders like Ch. Pervez Elahi or Ch. Shujaat Hussain become the PM.
