I agree with most of your post … if you read my post again it will include what you have written … however when you argue that most scholars follow your opinion … this is not true, at least it is not substantiated in your post or links … at most there are about 5 or 6 scholars who are saying this from your references. I don’t follow scholars who hold those opinions that your scholars hold in which case we are bound to differ and there is nothing we can do about it …

Next I picked up another point in your response …

You said that if “hadeeth is graded as fabricated with valid proofs, then we should not say that people are following the sunnah, but they are following a fabricated hadeeth.” I can be strict and say “where in hadith does it say this?” Where is the proof of the statement “if hadeeth is graded as fabricated with valid proofs …” but I won’t … because it won’t get us anywhere … however I will say that the key word is VALID proof … now if a hadeeth is da’eef according to majority and not mawdo’ and others say it is mawdoo’ - it is correct to go with the majority opinion or more specifically incorrect to go with the minority opinion. If you can provide valid proof that the majority of scholars call it mawdoo’ then you may have a point. Let’s start here. Until that point there is a potential Sunnah that is being ignored.

Firstly, The scholars are not following my opinion. Infact they researched in the field with utmost efforts and then gave the fatawas.

2ndly, yes, we will differ if we follow or take different fatawa by different scholars, having different opinions or proofs.

3rdly, about hadeeth being fabricated with valid proofs" I think you mustread the ebooks which are given in the link as the proofs are provided there from scholars & researchers of ahadeeth.

4thly, about keyword “valid” you said:

Majority of ahadeeth ulamaa’ have graded many ahadeeth mentioning the virtues or ibaadah on 15th shabaan as mawdoo’. You can read the e-books as all the details are there.

I have provided valid proofs. These are scholars like Shaykh bin Baaz (his long fatwa about these ahadeeth is there in ebooks), shaykh uthaymeen, shaykh Jibreen, Shaykh Ghudayyan, Shaykh Ibraheem Al As-Shaykh, (these are all members of research committee of fatawa)

Ibn al-Jawzi in his book al-Mawdoo’aat, Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, Abu Shaamah al-Shaafa’i.

Shaykh al-Islam [Ibn Taymiyah] narrated that there was consensus on the fact that they are false, in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa, 28/138.

**Lets assume, its a sunnah & its a daeef hadeeth (as some said).. or say majority are saying its daeef hadeeth

but there are conditions to follow daef hadeeth.

so we need to read the conditions before we say that even the hadeeth is daef, we will still follow it.

so do you have a “valid” proof that prophet sallAllahu alayhi wa sallam practiced this or did ibaadah on 15th.

no more replies, please read the books to know authenticity of the ahadeeth.
