Ager ball doctor sab kah gaher ghee to out.

If ball hit to window our shesha toot gya.saab bag jahtay thay apnay apnay gaher ko and no more cricket for two days.
we selected few windows in our mohlah if ball hit to those windows batsman is out.
Jo sab sah chota uss ke pahlay bating and for tap every body has to pay 2 rupess. baccha party kah leeha maaf.
And there was one uncle in our mohalah don’t like cricket and When his time to come we used to cover bat and ball and sit keep quiet.

Re: “Rules” of tape ball cricket

I used to do this alot.. for long time( 1 month or so) i was No. of Bowler and then they (opposite side) realised, then umpire use to check ball after every delivery.

Re: “Rules” of tape ball cricket

Now here is the one that only I can believe:
I once took 4 wickets in one over in a double wicket match. And I am by far a medium-slow bowler.
Here is how it happened:

  1. First ball the batsmen was acting like a wiseguy cause I had not played in that team before. He charged me and went way off to the leg side, I bowled on his legs to which he was completely surprised and missed the ball, the fielders ran him out immediately.
  2. The next guy did not learn the lesson and again charged me, but this time straight down and I bowled a slow full toss. Clean Bowled! Not good timing at all.
  3. The third guy made a clean hit through the line of the ball over long on, but was caught behind the fence in the park. The fence was too close so the catching position was agreed earlier.
  4. Fourth guy missed a wider one that was not called as it was still in, and he got stumped.

Aahhh…what a memory…
:clown:

Re: "Rules" of tape ball cricket

YAAR YEH NO BALL NAHI HAI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: "Rules" of tape ball cricket

In US, playing in tennis courts, if the ball goes outside without hitting fence then its out i.e. "deewar pe lag ke ghar mai gayee to out nahi hay".

Re: "Rules" of tape ball cricket

One tip out!

Re: "Rules" of tape ball cricket

Only the older kids played with tape ball, cuz it made the ball faster.

Do people in UK and Australia play cricket in the street like we do in Pakistan?
