My MIL was telling me that in Islam - you cannot get married to someone you had pre marital relations with. You have to get married to someone else - get a divorce and then you allowed to get married.

  1. Is that true?
  2. What is the logic behind that rule?
  3. Is there are punishment like 40 whips - or something?
  4. What if you carrying ther person’s child
  • P.S I am in none of these situations - just wanted to increase my knowledge.

I dont think its true, WaAllah ul Ilm..

I think if someone did this she should try to marry the same person it will be better for both, for girl and kid.

I agree with Dua . ..plus the punishment of Zina only happens if person confesses or there are 4 witnesses .. other than that, person should just do astaghfaar

There might be a slight chance you or your mum in law got confused?! The closest Islamic rule I can think of keeping in mind your post is that when you're married to someone and get divorced, you cannot go back to the person until you marry elsewheer and get divorced. Like you're married to A get divorced and wish to go back to A, you wont be halal on him until you've married B and gotten a divorce.

it says "zani aurteen for zani mard-------pakeeza aurteen for pakeeza mard"

But once some one stop doing it Would he/she be still consider zannah-kar ?

so one can go and have sex with all the girls and then leave them and marry a pakeeza cause he is pakeeza now ..

i just know 1 thing that biggest gunnah is zinaah,,,so muslims b sabar,,and try to keep away urself from zinnah......ASTAGFIRULLAH
har gunnah ki mafi hay but iski nai......agay ALLAH behtar janata hay

Sana, har gunnah kee maafi hai .. allah to shirk ko maaf kar detaa hai agar aadmi doobara eeman le aa'ey .. yeah to zina hai ..

Maafi oos soorat main nahi hai if its zina bil jabar .. then till the victim pardons you on the day of judjment, there is no maafi

nai sana its not true, allah pak k han har gunnah ki mafi hai siway shirk k ... lekin agar sachy dil say iman lay aien or phir sachy dil say mafi mang lein to Allah bohat Rahim Rehman hai wo us ko bhi maaf kar deta hai.

zana gunah-e-Azeem hai par sachi toba Insan ko mafi dila sakti hai. Allah pak sab ki chotti bari galtion ko maaf farmay Ameen.

But I swear the Aalim Online guy was saying the same thing.

As far as i know there is nothing like this in Islam. nO way.. it doesnt make sense at first place.

I guess he can marry a pakeeza gal if he tells her about his past plus that he is not like that anymore. If she accepts, then fine.

It didn't make sense that's why I asked. I will do some research and post back.

I think the interperation stems from what PunchingMonk said about zani aurteen for zani mard-------pakeeza aurteen for pakeeza mard.
