ever since i got my braces off.. everybodys telling me how awesome my smile looks.. just yesterday i ran into my desi dentist and she had only one thing to say .. "looks okay..oh I see a gap.." sounds familiar? welcome to the desi world

I think it is rude because if you asked a gora person they'd be like "oh she's just glowing!". Some desi people just don't have a filter or they like being rude or whatever their problem is. I'd let it go, if she said it directly to you then I'd address it but you're hearing it from a third party.
