How come they dont try converting the Sikhs and Buddhists? Why only Muslims and Christians?
First off - no one can be converted to Hinduism - you are either born a Hindu or not. All this conversion rubbish is just political to make a case for bringing a strong anti-conversion law in India. That said Sikhism, Budhism (& Jainism) are off shoots of Hinduism. Their founders were Hindus and many followers of these three religions in India still follow a lot of Hindu customs, celebrate Hindu festivals and so on.

First the 82% have to know what being a Hindu is before he can preach it to others. In my estimate a majority have no idea except the rituals which they dumbly perform, certain slokas which they memorize and recite, and certain worships which they are snookered into making ‘deals’ with favorite God. I have committed those errors too and while it is still better than not being conscious of those which atleast act as a retraining influence, they are missing such a bounty of eternal wisdom and associated harmony and peace of mind.

Well if your going to make a comment, then at least have the evidence to back it up. Why are you even here if you arent going to debate with evidence. Why should anyone pay any attention to you when you have no evidence to back up what you say.
You made a comment and I called you out. You said that Muslims knocked down temples, I provided you with links by historians that counter your claim.
Islam being dear to me or not is not relevant to the actual debate. i ACKNOWLEDGE that many Muslims did many bad things. No doubt. What I dont agree with is how you paint the entire group of people with the same brush. Assume that it was ALL forced, that they were ALL horrible, without understanding any context, without any evidence to support it.... I mean it really comes across as nothing more then bigoted ramblings. Why should anyone have to stand for such talk?
Its not about superiority either. You seem to believe that no Hindu could ever possibly CHOOSE to convert, and to ISLAM of all things! Well, many Hindus do choose to convert and many have in the past. I just pointed that out to you.

looks like something hit your raw nerve…actually after about your second repetitive ‘gimme, make me understand’ I suspected either mal-motivation or inability on your part to receive facts that don’t suit you. But I didn’t want to give up on you and your bff Southie that soon - but now since you say it’s too much, so it shall be.
