Someone might help you wiht the difference, but in the Quran it clearly mentioned that Spirit only Allaah knows the best, this verse revealed after the Jews or Mushriks questioned about Spirit or Rooh.

Rooh is a matter of faith. Physically there is no evidense to show its existance. But almost all Ibrahamic/non-Ibrahamic religions believe in it.

Rooh aur Jaan main Farq sirf itna hai keh jaan to her jaandar main hoti hai lakin rooh sirf insaan aur jinnat main hai. Sirf insan aur jinnat ke jism main Allah ne rooh phoonki, baqi kisi jandar ke jism main rooh nahin hai. Manrey ke baad sirf insan aur jinnat ka hisab hona hai so rooh bhi sirf inhein ke jism main dali gai hai. Yahi 2 jins hain jin ke jism main rooh bhi hai aur jaan bhi.
DOOSRI BAAT YEH KEH AAP NE LIKHA HAI KE THERE IS NO EVIDENSE TO SHOW IT'S EXISTANCE. AAP HAZRAT AADAM KO PAIDA KARNEY KE MUTALLIK MATALIA KAREIN, AAP KO 1 NAHI KAI EVIDENSE MIL JAYEIN GE ROOH KE BAREY MAIN. AGAR ROOH KA KOI EVIDENSE NAHIN HAI TO AALAM-E-ARWAH KYA HAI?

I think Qasim is correct. Jaan is in every living being...however, Rooh is in Jinnat and Humans only.

Bhai Sahib it was not Faith that informed the Ruler of Madina Munawwarah that two Priests were digging near our Prophet's PBUH Roza, trying to steal his body.

No. But the emphasis is not on seen or unseen. But on proveable and unprovable. Still for the record pain can be proved by monitoring the distress level in a person. Also you can measure adrenaline level in the blood stream which is released during high risk situations.

the mention of rooh here is not for general spirits, but the mention if to AL-ROOH which is specific use for hazrat jibraeel (as)…
as in many other places in the Quran…
in one place he is also referred to as al-rooh-ul-quds (meaning holy spirit)…
