Role of moderators (continued from that other thread)

Re: Role of moderators (continued from that other thread)

There is a detailed guide on mods responsibilities and how to perform their duties available in the mods forum and every new mod is referred to it and they use that guide to familiarise themselves on what their role is and how to set about it. Also in the early days the whole team is there to help them with any problems.

A review is carried out on an ongoing basis and various figures are looked at and posted in the mods forum.

A very thorough review has recently been carried out of all the forum and its report is currently being discussed in the mods forum and the results will be for everyone to see shortly.

Mods have in the past been removed form their posts due to lack of performance or when there have been genuine complaints where we felt that the mod was in the wrong. However, luckily such instances are not very many as we constantly talk to each other as team members and take corrective action if required.

We are not perfect nor do we claim to be. we welcome all suggestions and constructive criticism.

Aliyish you have made good points and I would like to carry on the discussion with yourself, so please feel free to contact me.
