I have seen a few newcomers recently that have impressed me. The girl who played faisal qureshi’s daughter in qaide tanhai was very good opposite faisal, and sometimes even outdid him in the confrontational scenes of father and daughter. Also the older sister of zara in ‘Daam’ and the best friend in ‘Malaal’ were an absolute joy to watch.
But back to Roag, i love asif raza mir and Shagufta ejaz. They really do look like a couple who have been married for 20 or 30 years! Their on-screen chemistry is very natural. The young nimmi and the older nimmi are also doing a very good job IMO..
wow they have chosen excellent look alike for the role of "Humera"...the previous one and this one both look like sisters.....this current one looks very different (due to her weight) compared to when she came in shehzad roy's song "tera mukhra haseen jadoo kar gaya"
who is Humera? the older sister of Nimmi?
Also Nimmi is being played by the same girl who is in that Khwab reza reza soap, right? I don't know her name.
Humera is the oldest, the one who hates nimmi. She blames nimmi for her broken engagement to the cousin, not realizing that she is the one who probably instigated the whole trouble with her flirting!
this episode dragged a lot. And they introduced a new annoying character who was asking all those stupid questions at the shaadi. Technically they shouldn't have done a mehndi if the guy is so religious. Wonder why the mom is shown as a modern chic and the son doesn't say anything to her...strange.
The scene where Faisal's character is washing himself over and over again was very well done.

**.
I was thinking the same thing, the mothers usually always get the "burqa order' first from their sons! I didnt think there was anything wrong with his sister's lehnga, but if he thought that was 'behooda' then the mom's suit wasn't much behind!! :)
As far as the annoying woman asking all those stupid questions, dont we all have an auntie like that who always turns up on weddings specifically to ask questions of that kind.....

I mean the sis even puts her dupatta on her head when she is in front of him and the mom looks like she just stepped out of a salon lol
And yeah there was absolutely nothing wrong w/ the lehnga. If it was showing some skin then I could see him complaining. In fact the mom's outfit was a little low-cut IMO.
^ the sister asked the mom and sister the same question in episode 8, when mother said my son wants a 'pardah dar larki', the sister said 'aap toh pardah nahi karti aunty' haha basically the family seems pretty liberal, don't think he can bully his mother into doing pardah like he did with his sister, he is shown to be the only one who has extreme issues which his own family seems to be sick of.

yep LOL I like the sister's answer. The mom had that blank look on her face like "what's my line dude?" lol
^no idea , wonder that too... at first watching the promos i thought it would be mohib mirza, but now it doesnt look like it would be him cuz he is faisal's brother :S
i think he was the guy who was watching over the shop in the previous episodes! the promo's show that nimmi does get married but i wonder which brother she marries?
I watched all of the episodes online so I am up to date with the most current episode.
This is one of the best dramas I have seen in a very long time. It is incredibly emotional, and like many others here, as a parent, I too sobbed.
One fact the scriptwriters failed to address is the issue that the Doctor and her daughter did not leave Hyderabad and move to Karachi .... yet, they are living in the same city as the other family who moved. A minor issue, but it still bothers me!!! How does that make any sense?
I think Shagufta Ejaz is so beautiful, even in this age. I just love her.
wow what an emotional episode, i had tears throughout the episode, especially when the father cries
Story is moving fast, i wonder if mohib will marry her or not…
Im loving the middle sister's acting. So calm and collected and effortless dialogue delivery. Her role should have been bigger as she is the most sensible one around! I wish they had introduced the idea of nimra visiting a psychiatrist too, since the poor girl could do with some counselling.
