I need some feedback from you girls on this sleeveless shirt Rizwan Beyg lehngha - Yay or Nay???
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
I
it…very elegant looking
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
the shirt and dupatta are gorgeous but i'm not feeling the lehenga...
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
SGC - Is it the fall of the lehengha??? It looks slightly oversized, unless that's the way it appears on the dummy?
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
The shirt looks well heavy. Why so much embroidary. Whatever happened to less is more.
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
oh my gawddd. this is fashion? ![]()
whatever floats your boat i guess..
personally, i think it looks like a kameez with a wrongly wrapped dhoti.
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
I like it...its got a very regal look to it.
i gotta same feeling lol abt lehngaaa ![]()
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
I am not like liking the lehnga with that top. Because of the length of the top, I think it's better suited with chori daar.
its very stiff... like its not flowy nor graceful....
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
Its way to stiff and filled with kaam.
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
wow owsume

yeah its the fall and its also the super chunky border. i almost feel like you could get away with a simpler, more flowly, layered chiffon lehenga under it with a tiny border and some "chhun". remember the bunto outfit we all liked? the girl with the similar kaam-filled tan shirt and then her lehenga was just plain, red chiffon?
kinda like that.
also what material is the dupatta? it looks really poufy, like it wouldn't sit right on the bride but bubble around her head. you should try it out definitely if this is for you.
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
very classy
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
^ The lehenga itself was the only doubt I had about this outfit. The super chunky border does not help - I would probably reduce it by 50% or I think even a gap inside the border to break it up could help possibly? Besides the border, you probably can't see this on the lehenga, but the white part to it also has very fine thread work. I think he's probably used a heavy material to support all that work, which is why the fall doesn't seem so graceful. A Plain lightly worked chiffon would definitely help and I think would go a great way to improving the whole look.
The duppata is a very fine silk net chiffon, although I think he has some kind of lining underneath the borders of the duppata. I think that might be giving that poufy effect.
Other than that, I really love the shirt and duppata.
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
^ sounds gorgeous and the swap to a chiffon lehenga will make this perfect!
The fabric definitely needs changing and kaam reducing and perhaps if another colour was added it would liven up a little...at the moment its quite bland =/
Re: Rizwan Beyg Lehngha - What do you think???
