we did gharoli at my mamu’s wedding and it was so much fun! i’ve also seen doodh pilai, jootha chupai, the bride reading Quran when she gets to in laws after rukhsati and giving youngest devar money. another one that someone mentioned before is that ‘saat suhagan’ thing except i’ve seen 7 married women from the groom’s side taking it in turns sipping milk from a glass then passing it on to the bride to take a sip at the end. i’ve also seen the rice throwing rasam but i don’t like that since it involves throwing food on the floor and ppl end up stepping on it.
