Is there anyone on this site that could share experiences or provide advice to someone just beginning the rishta process? The constant set ups and rejections are really getting me down and I would really appreciate someone being able to provide their own experiences and help me sort out my own. PM me if you can. Well, you know that God has promised to provide food, don't you do a job to earn money to get that food? Efforts right? You'll eventually get what is in your kismat/fate but prayers are so that you stay on right track and efforts are to make it happen when you need it. Same applies for marriage as well.

Here, cliff notes for you: New new log (as in people) for rishta purpose are the bane of her existence due to roz roz ka run in with them.

Don't let it ruin you - normally its done in a tactful way not a show piece offering.
I think you need to talk to you mom about setting up such visits in a 3rd party residence or dinner party where the soul purpose IS NOT to show you off. When thats done -- if someone likes you ba'ath agai barai gi or vice versa - and if the match doesn't click then face saved.
