Rishta stories

Seriously, im like so sick of hearing how falani falani had so many rishtas , how so many ppl were dying to marry them etc etc .. i know grlz who’re getting rishtas all the damn time even tho they’re not interested at all, a grl who was married/nikkahed already and her neighbors STILLL wanted her, a NINE YEAR OLD who was getting rishtas coz she was “sooo beautiful” (but is apparently really overweight and unattractive now–shes 14 so shes at that awkward stage bechari), hell my bro was a baby when rishtas came for my mother  Makes grlz whove had all bad-rishta stories (or none actually) feel like crap

Re: Rishta stories

Re: Rishta stories

Re: Rishta stories

Cat-herders :peshow:

Re: Rishta stories

Sara hon stop worrying about marriage. You got tons of time!

Re: Rishta stories

y would u wanna get married?...enjoy the independence!

Re: Rishta stories

Independence? How many of you actually live on your own? You lot wouldn’t last 1 month with “independence” Retarded “never left mommy’s lap” brats.

Re: Rishta stories

^ and here we start w/ the generalizations again....

Re: Rishta stories

I know rukhsar... Grumpy just because women around you were dependent on their parents... stop generalizing others....

i been on my own since 17.... Because i chose to be this way..

as far as getting back to the main topic.... I so feel women should think of education adn career before thinking of marriage. We all will get married at one point or another its just the matter of the right person or time. Why not concentrate on your self at the moment make something out of yourself.

Re: Rishta stories

Acutally ure right, what independence? I dont hang out with freinds too much, coz im not allowed late, hell if i take a late class that ends past 7, they tell me to change my major  I can’t wear too much makeup or pretty clothes or jewelry, coz then there’ll be “no ronak on my face”

Re: Rishta stories

^
to that i would say- I placed limits on myself this way i wont have to think for a second that i am not allowed.

Shukar hai i can literally do whatever i want :~)..... Like i mentioned i been own my own since 17....

Re: Rishta stories

i live on my own too..love the freedom, but not all of its fun...especially when i have to take out the stinky trash..

Re: Rishta stories

It doesn't mean anything when a girl gets lots of rishtas. If the guys are so great she would have married one of them by then. I used to get rishtas when I was 15-16 but my mother never told me then. She just said no right away so I could finish school and go to University. Then when I was in Uni, I cut my hair super-super short. I didn't get any rishtas for a few years. One year I decided to grow my hair past my chin and suddenly the Aunties were looking again. It made me mad. They were a bunch of losers. Pardon my French. I was the same person, short hair or longer hair. But I was so easily judged based on my hair.
When I met my husband, my hair was short again. But he talked to me. He asked me questions about what I thought, my goals in life.

Re: Rishta stories

sounds word for word like my story Saima:smiley: never knew my short hair would be such a turn off.. and now that they are down to my soulders… i get the same aunties giving me a second look… :hoonh: … i think im past the gettin mad stage.. its just worth a giggle now.. :cb:

very true bout the number of rishtas aswell… doesnt mean anything at all  .. if anything.. just makes me feel guilty that all these rishtas are coming by and none seem to be right for me.. am i lookin for the wrong things or being too picky???

naw.. but still… the guilt remains…

:hinna:
