Hi guys, this is my first post on this forum and I need some advice off you all!
I just wanted to ask is it weird to get married to a guy who is about 5-6 years older than the girl? I mean there are some people who are really paranoid about this fact and say that it can cause problems later in life. Are any of you married to someone who is about 5-6 years older than you and do you feel the difference? Also what about the girl being 2-3 years older than the guy? Does this cause any problems later in life?
I've even seen studies that found the ideal age difference to be between 3-5 years. I know people, white people, who have married people with that much of an age gap so anybody who tells you it's strange is a moron.

When they say age is nothing but a number it's so true! It's all about compatibility and your personalities matching. My husband is 6 years older than me and we compliment each other so well. We're similar in our goals and lifestyle and that's why it works and if it didn't age would have nothing to do with it. Your personalities should gel, plans for your life, similar goals and dreams etc..
The guy being 5-6 years isn't normally considered a big deal..
The girl being 2-3 years older shouldn't cause issues but sometimes ppl (more often elders) don't like it.. Some get funny even if the girl is the same age as the guy and not younger..
Compatibility is the important thing.. Do what you feel comfortable with..
