Shud everyone have the right to procreate?
Some people are not fit to be parents.

Re: Right toprocreate?
if only the right people were parents, earth would not be overpopulated
unfotunately the people with less brain tend to have more kids because their only activity is f**** and that leads to many babies...
while brainy people are busy thinking...and that leads to less babies

This profoundly deep philosophical treatise should go alongside those of Plato, Socrates, Nietzsche, Mill, Kant, and Descartes...
As corollary to the above, China and India have the least brainiest people in the world...
Re: Right toprocreate?
No everyone doesnot have the right to have children. But how can one judge who is fit to be a parent or not beforehand?
Re: Right toprocreate?
They make you take a test before you can legally drive.
They have a minimum age limit for consuming alcohol.
Heck, they even at what age you are able to get married.......
shouldn't there be some sort of pre-requisite for having kids?
or some kind of absolute minimum?
I dunno. It's hard to say. Each case is so different.
I know of some churches that make it mandatory for the engaged couple to attend six weekends of "relationship management" classes else they cannot be married in that church.
Why don't we have this sort of practice with our mosques?
Re: Right toprocreate?
^ coz they think watever happens, good or bad, is the will of Go d and we are not to argue/question./fight it.
Re: Right toprocreate?
the will of God does not in any way mean that you should sit and allow things to take the course that they may.....
it doesn't mean you shouldn't try to improve yourself.
Re: Right toprocreate?
Thats exactly what you go through when you adopt. background checks, family counselor/psychologist assessments, several references from ppl not related to you, financial checks, medical checks, FBI investigations, state investigations, local police reports, finger printing.
if you are adopting from a diff country than the one you reside in, they may do the same there.
so yeah, they do have a process to say who is fit to be an adoptive parent and who is not. I guess its not 100% sure shot but in general they seem to do okay with all this investigation and review.
I can bet that if ppl having biological kids had to go thru the same scrutiny and preparation, world population would be a lot less ![]()

Tell that to ppl who are too lazy/dumb to fix their circumstances

and i think it"s totally unfair that people can have children naturally , that some of them are ready to kill and rape, while adpoting wannabes have so much trouble to go through before getting the right to adopt!
i saw statitics the other day, regarding USA, did you know 500 babies are killed* each year by their parents in USA, it's more than a baby per day!!
ps,
*killed by second hand smoke from parents, causing instant death during sleep.
Re: Right toprocreate?
And this reminds me of those men and women that purposefully kill their very own.
Who was that woman that planned and then methodically drowned five children?
Re: Right toprocreate?
Just goes to show what type of extreme racists exist in this world to this day…Get this through your thick supremacist skull, Black Africans are not less intelligent then other races, particularly the white race…

An excellent point.
Re: Right toprocreate?
races do not exist in human specie
why do you judge people by their skin color:grumpy:?
ps, afghani are not black africans eiter…
and let’s not think only superficailly will you?
don’t you know why some people have no time to think??
civil war, ring any bell?
Re: Right toprocreate?
It would be great if we were brought up being taught that “only smart, beautiful, mentally healthy” people should have kids, and encourage birth control on the others, but instead procreating has become kind of a human right… lol ![]()
Re: Right toprocreate?
^^ it would be boring;)
ever heard about diversity?
being born is the only thing that gives us “right to procreate”
and there is no one that can snatch this right from us except deseases (Allah’s will for believers…nature hasards for atheists)
no one because no one hs universal truth in ones hands…
Re: Right toprocreate?
Yeah being so annal with regards to statistics you should have realized these only do as much as draw a correlation between one’s lack of intelligence with their race and as absurd as this notion is, you had no qualms in extrapolating it vis-a-vis intelligence and sexual activity…
