Do you believe is there any Right Religion??? If there is, how would you know??? Right now, I can comfortably say that over 99 % of you have a specific religion NOT by your Conscious Choice BUT because your parents, grandparents chose it for you. In each religion, you have been taught to have BLIND Faith and Told NOT TO Question the Faith you belong to. If somehow you do start questioning, you are considered an Outsider, a person who is possessed by the “Devil” So if there is a Right religion, and your parents belong to the wrong religion then you are SCREWED, Aren’t YOU :D?? But is it Fair??? It is not your fault and if you obey your parents and believe in them 100 % and choose to have blind faith, will you go to Hell?? Why or Why Not???
Assuming if there is a so called “Right Religion”, Then why is it then in Each religion you will find people who have seen the “Light”. In each religion, miracles will happen to you as long you have a strong faith. Even if you worship some Rock in the Volcano, you’ll be satisfied if you have a strong belief. Your prayers will be answered NO Matter which Faith you Belong To.
Problem is not a right or wrong religion . The truth is in front of you when you identify God . Thats not a sin of a person to be born as a hindu , Sikh , or what ever . Once that light is in your heart then God does guide you to a right path . One should just keep on praying to be kept on a right path . And before praying please just neglect this Mullah crap of he / she is Kafir , Kill him , Dont listen to them . Shia Kafir , Sunni kafir , Ahmadi kafir . Sipah etc are jihadis . America Murdabad (and on the other day sending his own son there by paying 15 lakh rupees huh).
Forget all of this crap and just pray and thats it ... God will certainly show you a right path . Its up to you to accept the reality or just remain blind .. And remember dont feel yourself to be a hot shot janati if you think you are from a right religion . We should just keep on looking in ourselves for impurites .
And as for answering you, I can't be bothered to get into a long religious discussion but what I can say is that I've been questioning my religion for a long time. I've visited all the anti-Islamic sites you can name, read their 'claims' and as a result my faith has become more stronger. The more research I do the more it becomes apparent to me that Islam is the one and only True Path.

By the way, next time if you get this irresistible urge to look for the light at the end of the tunnel, Use your Little Brain and instead of going to anti religious websites, go to your local Library. You’ll find everything there is to know about all the religions in this world. After reading the books if you still have the thirst for the knowledge go take a course about religion in local community college. After that you can visit mosque, church, temple etc. to explore your horizons.

Well I have read more then you can imagine. The thread is not about seeing the “Light” it’s about exploring the answers to the questions mankind has till the beginning of time. Like Fita, making one line smart A$$ comment will serve no purpose. If you have something constructive to contribute you are welcome here. hey i did say cheers to your discussion i just wont be a part of it . When i said religious scholars its referring to all religions which ever you like exploring, since i am a muslim i am telling you best way to explore islam is to go to people who have invested lives studying it and thus are competent to show the path. Guess its the same with Quran e pak, i personally dont think i would be the one to show the light because

One thing is clear, there is only one entity who has made this Universe. I dont think it matters by what name you call Him as long as you are directing your thoughts towards Him. (Because all languages are man made, and it does not matter what name we give Him). Rock, when was the experiment about the various books conducted. Prisoners in the US, especially blacks come out as muslims because they are surrounded by other muslims, expounding their faith. There are definitely christians in jails too, but hardly the church going and proselytising types. Regarding going to Paradise, the Bible also promising the same thing, if you die as a christian, so go prove which book is right. Hindus make idols to form an image of God to make it easier when meditating, its just a tool for spiritual development. Fita for every one person you will find saying Islam is perfect, there will be four pointing out its imperfections, it is all relative. But there are two major religions with the business of saving souls of humans following other religions and they are right now in a fight to increase their respective market share.

From skullcaps, halal-kosher foods, abhoring pigs, writing from right to left (hebrew and arabic), circumcision, similarities between old testament and Quran the closeness of customs run deep. Thus they have more in common between them than Christianity has with either of them.

As I was reading his thread I was taken back in history when Russia decided to have a state religion and the Russian Czar sent his foreign advisers to other lands to pick a religion. They didn't like Judaism and Islam becasue they didn't eat pig and Islam went further by prohibiting booze (a no no in Vodka country). So they went to Constantinople (pardon the spelling) where they were dazzled by the glitter and wealth. So they went back and reported their findings and Russia chose christianity (Greek orthodoxy later turned into russian).
I read this in "History of the world" JM roberts. Not the windows part the russian part.
