Sunil Gavaskar has called for another look in Shoaib Akhtar’s action. I think it’s the epitome of ridiculousness by the Indian star. I am so outraged at the INdians. I just can’t comprehend that why they are doing all this when they lost the series. Why Greg Chappell being such a fine and “nosey” coach, complain to the ICC before the beginning of the series.
It’s out of mainstream thinking to go and blast at Shoaib Akhtar when you lost the test series and the chances for India look bleak in the ODIs as well. Sunny Gavaskar, a player of high calibre, should have thought twice before saying something about another look in Rawalpindi’s Express because the Pindi Express has been cleared twice before the ICC.
Indian cricketers commenting on fast bowlers sounds like an oxymoron. These guys with over a billion population are yet to produce a bowler who can bowl over 90 mph and they want us to listen to them? Another moron is Bedi who was at best a pie thrower, talking of fast bowling and what not.
Instead of brainstorming for indian bowling crises, they are just making fun of themselves by coming up with these allegations. In the past Vengsarkar and Ganguly have also whinned, than Chappel and now Gavaskar.
I already lost much of the respect for the man named Gavaskar after his selection stunts last year during Super series. But was not expecting these stupid and childish comments from him specially at this time when India lost the series and Chappel already whinned regarding this issue, but more importantly because Sunil Gavaskar is directly involved with ICC and the bowlers review committee.
Suppose if Akhar is called again by ICC. What are they going to prove? Are they going to contradict the findings which they earlier accepted form Uni. of Western Australia, that he has unusual hyper movements in his joints and therefore sometimes gives an impression that he is chucking.
Shoaib Akhtar has been cleared on Medical grounds and there is no way he would be banned due to his action. Every one specially indians should realise this thing. It is ok to discuss this thing on these forums but defintiely is hilarious when responsible people like Gavaskar come up with this stupid statements.
Why do all Indians think from their asses when it comes to Pakistan/Pakistanis? Why do they overlook and ignore facts/truth when it comes to Pakistan/Pakistanis? That insecure?

NEWSFLASH: HE has been CLEARED from ICC long time ago and every body knows Shoaib's action is DIFFERENT but is it illegal is a different story and he is clear of that.
Indians might be acting like sore losers but the thing is they do have a point. Its just their timing thats awfully wrong. They didnt have any problem with Shoaib's action all along, but now they lose they complain.
BUT
Their timing doesnt change the fact that Shoaib does chuck. Hyperextension is when your arm can bend backwards, not sideways. When shoaib bowls his arm is bent sideways.

its a fair point to ask why all this uproar after a test loss instead of 2004. he had the same action then, but ofcourse in those days tendulkar wasnt trying to play balls with his head instead of his bat.
like geoff boycott said, it just sounds like sour grapes now that indian batsmen were flattened two innings in a row by a pace attack they havent been able to match in their billion strong country after scouring it for so long. It reeks of jealousy and sour grapes. maybe it would be sporting to try it the next time they win a test series against us, but then again shoaib might have retired by then..
as for why wasim/waqar were never questioned, you’re wrong. they had their own set of allegations against them and those were always brought up when india lost (ball tampering… ). most people arent talking about whether or not the allegations are correct, the timing of it is far too predictable. it is far too much to expect for indians to lose to Pakistan and not immediately try to denigrate that and moan about something or the other..
if you dont want tired old answers, dont raise tired old questions
allegations about shoaib usually have the same timing and motivation as allegations against Wasim/Waqar used to have. you couldnt swallow defeat easily then, you cant now.
First of all, it is PAKISTANIS .. So, next time you want to refer to people from Pakistan, they are called PAKISTANIS. Don’t show your racist nature just because your team is losing.

Coming back to your statement about parrotting. Reason we have said it 1000 times is that you are too thick to absorb this thing in your mind that India has a fast bowlers issue. So conentrate on that rather making allegations on others immediately after losing a series.
Go watch the footage where Michael Holding explains that why everything is normal in Shoaib’s action. I guess Michael Holding knows bit more about fast bowlers and fast bowling than you and I.
