But then the way these nawabs marry and marry and are so fond of wives and childre. I wonder if the members of his family (which should be more than hundreds now) ended up being that rich really.

Rich as in being a millionaire, CEO of a company or owner of multiple businesses. Most billionaires would be budhays in their 50s I guess.

As per my knowledge his grandson offered to buy an ailing industry to help poor peoples few years back...

Well again times are changing younger men want to be with their families so they make time for them. At least thats what I see amongst my friends but they work themselves till death.. because thats their peak I guess?
If you want a rich husband hareem ;DD then you should aim for those who are in their late 40s going up because they have gotten a hold of it and know what they are doing.
I'm kidding about you going for it by the way.

My sister married someone like this. We were most definitely just the average joe family, but my brother in law is from one of the most high profile and richest families in Karachi. He was the last to marry in his family, confirmed bachelor
who spent his life on just work, work, work. His wealth and family status was mind boggling for us at first. She was 18, he was 38 when they married. Believe me, it hasn't been a bed of roses for her, but they have been married 21 years now Mashallah, with two beautiful and highly successful children.

I don't exactly buy the argument of if he's rich he wont' spend time with you. There are men who make much less money but still rarely spend time with their families.
When we were kids, my father ran a business and while we weren't billionaires, we had a very comfortable, decent life (mA)....he worked alot, but he was still always there to drop us off at school and to pick us up at 3 PM on the dot--just one example.
It comes down to the man--how dedicated he is to his relationship and family.

Exactly!!! My brother in law did not emass his fortunes by living spending like crazy. If you saw how normal and average he and my sister live, you'd never in a million be able to guess their
net worth. However, they do spend where it counts...top notch education for their children and lavish travel all over the world. Everything else..car, house, clothes etc is quite ordinary. He an be down right kanjoos sometimes when it comes to spending.

In my sister's case, her husband was able to pretty much "retire" once they got married, so they spend ALL their time together. He still runs his enterprises, but for the most part, he's always around.

There was a time when I wanted a highly rich husband but it didn't happen....went through a lot of financial difficulty for the first 5 years of marriage, did market stalls and job in retail to support my husband but yeah, with time things started to ease up a bit. Now I don't dream of finding a rich man, I just dream of becoming a successful business woman.

well, people should also realize if one marries only for money then uhhh...anything can be expected of the guy. it is his money. :S women dont have an entitlement.

Not true. Look at prince William and Kate Meddilton. Nadal, Murray, Djokovich are dating average girls and I am sure many other athletes do too.

I read an article some time ago on how to attract these rich/powerful men. One of their tips was that women should be successful and earning lots of $$$ on her own....and those women would hardly be "average".

Thats good you just have to decide in what field and follow through. I think determination is the key..to be successful you have to be ruthless too I believe

LOOKS! is all it takes to attract any kind of man...young, old, rich, poor. no man will say no to katrina kaif or any other gorgeous woman for that matter.
and as to the pros of marrying a rich guy...the hope of access to the luxuries of this world is the biggest pro.
i also had another question....y is a woman called a gold digger and shallow when she wants a rich guy...but men arent considered shallow when all they want is a "hot gorgeous wife" and thats a demand all across the board. quite unfair. looks and riches should be placed on the same level of superficiality.
