I guess it’s a huge fashion trend to try to bag the guy from Pakistan who is in medical school and shows promise of getting a spot in an American residency, and then abandon him when he either doesn’t make it or chooses to stay in Pakistan.
So, where are the guys that are dying to marry daactarnis to be able to take her $$$ and spend it on diamond rings for themselves?
I was always looking for rich dacternee but only time I ran into one was when I was on operation table and she had knife in her hand. It was not the appropriate time to propose her I guess. What if she didn't like me proposing her? :(

As if the all the female medical students who go to super expensive medical colleges end up becoming practicing doctors. Their short medical stints accomplish everything the day they get a good proposal. Short, sweet, happy journey.

What are the reasons behind that? Explain the reasons, and then we can explore why it's so easy for women to do those things.

seemed to me that she is a doc is pk, working super hard and trying to go abroad for more training/to settle … dont know her end goal … and is now in limbo because the guy she is sweet on has changed his mind …
you blasted her for not “standing by her man” whom you deemed patriotic. problem is we dont know that she is any less patriotic or that she isnt coming back after more training. beyond even all of that … she has the right to make the right decision for herself doesn’t she? … Arnt you doing that while rishta hunting? looking at education level, location and money making potential?

But seriously, men aren’t drawn to career prospects because historically, and biologically, women aren’t expected to provide. Women in a prehistoric society would have been extremely vulnerable when pregnant. And most off spring died in infancy. Thus, a man who can provide security and shelter is desirable. In today’s world, that’s a career. Looks matter too, and studies have shown that women prefer more masculine looking men when they’re ovulating, hinting at women wanting to have their cake and eating it too, but that’s a whole other matter.

Money can "buy" you a hot woman. The bling is irrelevant. In fact, if a guy is looking to use money to get a hot woman, her having bling would likely make her more "difficult", hence, less desirable.

did you read the thread where it was mentioned that a girl in order to get married to a doc worked a lot on her appearance and got breast implants? I mean that’s too much. Even male doctors should appreciate personality over appearance. Why shouldn’t such a demand exist for female daaactarnis?
